前几天贴了上下班步行经过的伦敦三个皇家公园照片：

再贴几张学校照片。理工学校的建筑相当理工，实用无修饰，比之周围繁花似锦的皇家
建筑犹如异类。唯一特别的是一座高耸的四方穹顶塔楼——女王塔Queen's Tower。手
头没照片，借一张网图：
塔楼平时不开放，有一次不知是校庆还是毕业典礼，学校开塔揖客，并有定时导游。我
们趋之若鹜地钻进塔里看新鲜。
入口这叫一个寒碜……
堂堂维多利亚女王立像，脏兮兮摇晃晃地被一堆杂物簇拥在楼梯死角，永世不见天日。
此塔既以女王命名，此像亦必荣华富贵一时；然最终难免归入历史的尘土。

我的lease是明年六月底到期。价格很便宜，才$550/month，不包水电，两个bedroom，
一个bathroom。两个房间的窗户和阳台都朝西南，在二楼，地势很高，光线很足。阳台
前有棵大树，夏天长满叶子正好挡住下午的烈日，冬天就掉光叶子，所有房间阳光都很
充足。客厅空间很大。阳台可以晾晒衣服。很适合有孩子的家庭。如果不是因为要毕业
，我还会住下去。
在Kensington Park Apartments，离NCSU centennial campus（走路10～15分钟）和
wolfline（就在小区旁）都很近。小区里中国学生和家庭很多。
