我也是找了好久的琴，后来看到了这个帖子，去琴行跟他们谈这个价钱。
dealer说这个是group buy的价钱，5人以上才能成团。 当时我也不知道能不能成团，
所以价钱就没有最后确定。如果我们人数够，我可以去找dealer谈，肯定是人越多价钱
越好。
12 月初的价钱LA dealer给的团购价格是4850(including tax, delivery,adjustable
bench, one tuning)

That's why I like it better over Yamaha I guess. Yamaha is much "brighter",
but for playing classical pieces, you'll certainly like Kawai better. |

是儿子自己挑的，他试了各种grand piano。Steinway很好，但实在太贵。他说他挑中
的这台Shigeru和Steinway声音、手感很像，可便宜很多。
每架钢琴都不一样，不能只看牌子型号，最好找懂的人去试。 |

琴一样被认为"不是乐器", 但近年的新款已被很多人认为超过YAMAHA.造价12million
的Berkeley The Freight and Salvage 音乐厅新进的三角琴就是这个牌子.我不懂琴,
但在给女儿买琴时听到它,觉得它真是在"唱". 女儿说yamaha听起来happier, 但这恰恰
是我觉得yamaha相较起来声音单薄些.而Kawai有些部件是塑料的.do some research,

their new technology. it's stronger and lighter than wood, so it's not
affected by humidity and the keys are more responsive. it should be
considered as a plus not a down side.
but you are right about the re-invented ritmuller. i've heard some good
reviews too. an open mind may bring happy surprise.

If it's for a beginner, it actually doesn't matter unless you're a very
serious learner.
No matter which one you pick, you should always try out the instrument
before purchase it!! every piano is different, you can't tell whether it's a
good one or not before trying it. As a pianist myself, I do NOT recommend
group purchase. |

tone too. Do you know si 15 model? My concer is it is small 45inch. Inside
it should be comparable to a k5. How much difference will the height make
comparing with a 48 or 52 inch piano in a home setting? |

is more consistant.
That is why a lot of people buy U1.
You will end up with no trouble with group purchase without asking people/
friends help picking one. All just sounds very much the same. Picking a piano with "good sound" is very subjective.
I dont know anything about the consistancy of kawai. |

发帖数: 658 | 48 The ABRSM Grade4~5/CM Grade5~6 is about intermediate level. In general, it
takes about 4~5 yrs to reach those levels, however, every kid is different,
some might take longer, some might less, it depends. (for your reference,
Beenthoven's "Fur Elise" is about intermediate level)
If you plan to trade in in future, Yamaha has better trade in value. Kawai
is not as stable as Yamaha in long term(let's say after 10 or even 20 yrs).
