发帖数: 1745 | 3 看个人情况,我CK就先做的kaplan ck NEW qbank,一个半月,只有50%正确率;然后才做的
UW qbank,一个月做完,60%正确率.
现在看看,如果我当时skip kaplan,只做个UW,估计正确率会更低,估计连去考试的勇气
都没有了.
所以,一句话,自己最知道自己的水平,然后在琢磨着该怎么办吧. 别人认为是废物的东
西,没准对我来说,就是块宝贝.
正在准备step3,我还是老样子,先做kaplan qbank,然后再做UW:-) |

FA也看了一遍，觉得好像少了很多东西，而且因为按系统排的，所以看起来也有些不适
应，比如外科什么的，看起来不如kaplan那么清楚，系统。
现在对着kaplan notes看UW bank,觉得好像notes 说的更好一些，也更全面。
大家觉得呢？有必要还像step1那样，把FA看得那么熟吗？还是以notes 为主就好？

I wonder if anyone would like to share the Chicago kaplan hotel and practice
CS together during 06/21-06/25? The reason to choose the hotel that kaplan
recommends is that it is near the kaplan center. And you won't be able to
find a cheaper one in downtown Chicago. This way, we can avoid traffic and
save time and energy. If we share, it is not expensive (50-60$ per day). The
goal is to practice CS and pass. |

发帖数: 190 | 8 看到网上很多人讨论Kaplan CK Q bank，我也说说我的想法吧。
Step1和2感觉还是很不一样。个人感觉， 一般step1 只要知道他们在说什么，就能选
对答案。但是step2虽然知道说什么，可是还得猜答案。因为它可以很灵活，处理没有
最好只有更好。这就需要开阔视野，了解临床的思维，再加上一些生活常识。我在CK考
试中很少觉得遇见同样的题，很多觉得完全没有见过，好不容易见到熟悉的题，选项确
完全不同。Kaplan CK Q bank 就是给予了一个这样的练习机会。做一遍并不需要花太
多时间，里面有很多知识点，由于时间所迫，我没有做笔记也没有重复，但是就这一边
改变了大脑的运作。CK比step1成绩好一些，也是99.
特别要感谢Mitbbs，他告诉我还是看看kaplan。我原本没有打算做这个Qbank的。当然
，也许是我运气好，都给猜对了。大伙自己看着办吧。Good luck! |

Kaplan就做一遍。
是先把UW 吃透，再做一遍KAPLAN去考试？还是先把Kaplan 过一遍，然后啃UW 再去考
试呢？ |

发帖数: 274 | 10 我印象中Kaplan好像比较简单而且不如UW和真题相似，个人认为可以快速把kaplan（比
如像你那样一个月）过一遍当热身，然后认真做UW，之后做UWSA和NBME，考前10天两个
以上的NBME过600的话就比较安全，可以放心去考。做Kaplan时不能为做题而做题，解
释一定要看，否则浪费时间。
以上是个人小经验，请斟酌。 |

发帖数: 79 | 18 I attended GoldUSMLE 3-day workshop (Feb 8-10). I learned a lot in
differential diagnosis and PN. I highly recommended this workshop. One
student asked Dr. Thomas' opinion about Kaplan. He said Kaplan is well
established but they charge 4 times more than us. I guess that Kaplan is as
good as GoldUSMLE but much more expensive. Dr. Thomas told me that he really
likes Chinese students because we are nice and appreciate other people's
effort. He would continue to offer discount for CMG.

tests (eg. Kaplan Trainers) correlate to the real one. I mean what score we
need to get in the Kaplan practice tests in order to have a great chance of
passing. Some previous post said it would be guaranted to pass the exam at
the first attemp as long as you can get 60% or higher in those practice
tests. What do yout guys think about this?
I know the 1st attempt passing rate in 2009 is around 87% for US-educated.

一直都听说Kaplan的题较难，可是我的mentor（毕业于四年半前）却跟我说Kaplan的题
目最容易。他说他考第一次NCLEX前用的是Kaplan，参考前的测试成绩大约是80分，却
fail了。之后，他改用Saunders，参考前的分数大约是70分，结果，他以75题通过了第
二次NCLEX。 |

好像是计算题的内容 还有就是美国文化方面的
2本书都挺薄的
纽约这里进kaplan RN班 要I20的话也是先要通过托福考试才行
Kaplan的班主要是以你自学为主
无论是不是international的 都是这样子的
医生的考执照班 也是这样子
video都要自己去看
当时大家都是集中在3-4天去 因为好像要满足一周22小时的规定
只有有节日的那个周 可以只去17个小时
video有分理论和老师讲题 老师讲题那个特别有帮助
我就是听了那个之后思路一下子就清晰了
然后还有好像8次的真人课堂讲座
考试是入学的时候的摸底考 你可以拿到kaplan的一个评估
告诉你哪个部分是你薄弱的地方 类似模拟水平测试
讲座是不是有考试就不知道了
我大概知道他们就是做题目 将题目
所以我一考过 就是问自习看录像地方一起学习的医生们
借了他们几个药物video学习去了
我那个时候因为是要他们issue I20的
所以也只能用internation nurse那个package
一期4个月 package600多块
第一个月是自学 然后做题 然后后面有几次免费 |

没有任何划痕，不影响做题判断。书都是购于2010初 from Amazon，价格都是按照
amazon价格小于一半，一共是$184+$16预付邮费，邮费多了退，少了不补，很大的一箱
子书，很沉。

明显考试的时候不会那样出，另外，有些答案好像有问题。就是UW做完后当作消遣吧。
而且，以前老美对它评论也不好，有的学生做kaplan q bank很好，但是正式考试就不
行。 |

recommended me to add the sixth day "Practice Exam" to the 5-day course. The
five-day course is $2799. Step 2 CS Practice Exam is $999. If the class is
enrolled before Dec 31, 2009, one-day Practice Exam class can get $300 off.
The total will be $3499.
I am kind of confused with the Step 2 CS Practice Exam. Is it necessary to
add the 6th day Practice Exam? Thanks very much in advance for your kind
suggestions. |
