以前住东部时每年秋天就去看红叶，到SD后我们就喜欢每年秋天去逛Julian感受一下秋
意。昨天去了一次Julian全家都觉得很开心，还有苹果，梨可以摘。这里是我们昨天的
旅行路线，大家可以参考：
1.去Dudley Bakery买面包

2.去Raven Hill果园摘苹果。这里8000多棵小树孩子一伸手就可以摘。我家弟弟还喜欢
把掉到地上的苹果当小皮球踢。苹果一袋10刀，大人可以在里面吃到饱。我们最喜欢里
面红红的小苹果，一咬满口果汁。主人的雕塑也蛮有趣的。

秋风起花猫肥, 当秋阳暖暖地照在身上,而树叶也变的枯黄的时候,小镇Julian的苹果也
熟了.

Julian在78公路深处,从西边过去先经过小镇Wynola,有可爱的巧克力工厂,品酒屋和新
鲜苹果汁出售.
从南边上来的话会经过Lake Cuyamaca,是钓鱼和CAMPING的好地方,
Julian还是一如既往的人满为患,停车是个难题,到这里一定要尝尝本地特产苹果派,最
有名的是MOM'S不过,必须排上很长时间的队,
但是很值得,热腾腾的苹果派配上冰激凌,fantástico!
还可以去一家TEA HOUSE吃下午茶,Julian Tea & Cottage Arts(2124 3rd St),这是一
家猫FRIENDLY的茶屋,还有个CAT CORNER,
事实上Julian就是个猫FRIENDLY的小镇,到处都能找到猫,还有一家猫主题店,
一个孩子抱着猫的纯真眼神也让人难忘. |

发帖数: 5637 | 12 昨天问朋友要不要今天和我们去Julian玩，个个头摇得像波浪鼓一样的。不过既然家里
下面几个星期都有了安排，又想着在俺在国内的火炉里曾锻炼多时，于是仍旧照着计划
去摘苹果，吃苹果派。不过今年加了个新项目，坐火车体会一下淘金热。结果去了后，
发现真是去对了地方。Julian地处山上，一路上并不觉得热，而且今天人也不太多，停
车等十分方便，大家玩得十分尽兴。

来了加州后，我儿子已经在不同地方多次淘金了，但都没有今天玩得这么深入。Greg
Smith一家人1991年买下一块离Julian Downtown半英里处买下了一个10多公顷的农场。
农场里
有一个废弃多年的矿洞，Smith的孩子在这里度过了愉快的童年，他们一个爱好就是去
矿洞里探险。挖着，挖着，就发现要把那些淤泥运走，用wagon实在太费力了，他们就
投资了一个运矿车（mine cart），然后给mine cart建了一个轨道（rail）。哪里知道
这个hobby一发就不可收拾，Smith后来花了17年的时间在ranch里建了一个1英里长的铁
