行生意惨淡，于是这些华尔街机器又亮出“节能杀手锏”——裁员。从年初至今，华尔
街的投行们无一例外都在裁人，许多机构的招聘也已冻结。
低迷的华尔街
过去两个月，美国股市都在普涨，然而IPO市场却十分低迷。据美国数据提供商
Dealogic数据，不论是新股数量还是融资总额，近期都是2009年一季度（当时仅有2支
新股上市，融资总额8.3亿美元）以来最少。2016年一季度，一共仅有9支新股上市，融
资总量仅为12亿美元。

Permits看出。目前为止，全美平均房价只跌了8%左右，这样的跌幅与房价回归长期平
均线相去甚远。
Goog,IBM,Citi,JPMorgan等的季报超出预期，与他们各自的自救手段有关外，也与大家
对他们的预期降低有关。Citi,JPMorgan在Visa IPO上捞了不少，以至于他们的营业收
入超出了分析师的预期。但他们的balance sheet上的烂帐依然臃肿不堪，不仅是

而且JPMorgan的职位是Application Developer，我在jobs-salary.com和glassdoor.
com上查了一下工资，好像up to 90K左右，HP的是Sr title，而且我想是在IT公司里作
IT工作，不象在JPMorgan Chase还是作support，另外在Wilmington DE的Chase是它的
credit card部门，bonus也不会多的，综合考虑，我还是选择去HP，毕竟在HP做个几年
，如果要再跳的话，background也更硬。 |

有，不减工资就不错了，HP的manager和我说有yearly review和bonus or pay raise，
but not guaranteed...
JPMorgan Chase的工作Title有点低，glassdoor.com和jobs-salary.com上的chase在
wilmington de的工资也没有HP
的高，最关键的是，我已经拿到了HP的offer，9/7日前给回复，而JPMorgan的才进行到
第一轮的onsite，应该还有一轮，
正好碰上labor day，9/7日前肯定搞不定，再加上我家离wilmington de有47.1个mile
，开车全程高速1个小时15分钟，
所以就放弃了。Anyways，HP也不一定就是最后的落脚地，我还年轻，做个几年如果有更
好的机会再跳咯。 |

yesterday about this Financial Times story that reported on the 100 million
ounces sold forward by the silver mining companies...and Ted agrees that
Alasdair may have a point.
The FT story is misleading in some respects, because it insinuates that all
of these forward sales had just occurred during the first six weeks of 2011,
