基本上我审journal都是这个原则，好文章，改一次左右
太烂的，直接拒，idea还凑合，写的比较烂的，多改几次，比如2~3次。
根据统计好点的journal，不到1/3的录取率吧。还是不大好中的。 |

板谈了下，据说如果发这个conference，对journal的review会有影响。
不知道能有多大影响呢？为了保险起见，是不是withdraw这个conference，专心搞
journal比较好？ |

不建议withdraw，paper都已经中了再走回头路没有必要，好好改改投个合适的journal
吧，如果有journal因为你中的会议差而影响接受，可以换其他journal再投。
总之没必要走回头路，总结经验下次有好的东西投会议前考虑仔细了就行。 |

我在前面的帖子里讲过这学期上的一门professional writing的课程很不错，这周这门
课专门focus在专业journal的审稿过程，想必大家都很关心，就拿出来与大家分享。
注意：仅限于社会学，其他社会科学可能有不少相似之处，但当然也会有不同之处，仅
供参考。
先普及一下审稿的基本过程，可能版上有不少人已经熟悉了，但可能低年级的同学未必
知道：
稿子投到peer review journal之后，根据主题，由主编分配给编辑，编辑来决定把稿
子给哪几个reviewer，由reviewer给出决定是否录用的意见。一般决定分三种或者四种
：accept, reject，没什么好说的。Revise and resubmission [R&R]，这里可以分成
两种,strong R&R和weak R&R，strong R&R是已经接近录用了，但有一些问题必须改，
改得如果过得去，就录用了。Weak R&R是问题比较多，但又不至于一把就据了，看看改
得怎么样再决定。
然后就是由编辑决定是否录用。注意，reviewer不是投票人，是由编辑决定是否 |

来画画, 下半部是那种专门写英文的格子(就是三横线的那种), 大概5,6行, 满适合刚
开始写journal的小朋友的,
刚晚上催这儿子写, 结果又是先画画,等轮到写的时候就直打哈欠, 后来变成了我口述,
他写了.
不过今天去他学校, 翻了翻他这两天的journal, 都写的很不错了. One page还是没有,
但是5,6行总有了. 老师也高兴地告诉我: His writing is much better now.
看来孩子还是得推! |
