Even though I did not think those courses were interesting, I attended all.
I am not taking courses any more, and feel that any chance to take a course
should be cherished.

is kinda cheap considering he was from the prestigious program. If he used
the qinghua-jichu program as a quick track to gain his personal wellfare,he
abused the resources and expectations of ordinary Chinese people (who pay
the program) and the founders of the program (who thought high of those
young people with talents).
