是他20-25岁的作品.
他写的那几个故事,很短,但是没有一个废字,很多symbol,写作水平之高那是显而易见的
,其它人写的小故事,文学水平就比他差很多.
我其实也知道他是在文学界有争议的人物.有人说他水平高,是意识流作品的先驱,但是
也有很多人,尤其是他的同行,文学家们,抨击他的写作方法是进入了文学的死胡同,远远
不能和莎士比亚的作品来比较.同是意识流小说家的英国女作家virginia wolf竟然说
james joyce的作品粗俗不堪.但是,在现代这个小说里面黄色段子已经很多,电影里面不
仅有亲嘴镜头,更有性交镜头的时代,james joyce在由里西斯里面的性描写已经是小意
思了. |

Allen上都是AGS的证书，而且有Hearts & Arrows的评级。他家的钻石类似的等级好像
和BlueNile价钱差不多，有时候甚至比Blue Nile便宜些。但是他家的照片和setting的
做工好像都比Blue Nile好些，选择也多些，但是setting的价钱好像贵些。

凑个热闹。-:)
三年前去过夏威夷，回来后给一位德国的教授发了一张卡片（请教过他一些research问
题），他提到这本书，说是我会喜欢，因为里面有中国移民的故事。当时好像我从图书
馆借回来就看完了第一章，也就不到50页可能，唯一的感觉就是书太沉-:)
这次重新拿起书读，竟是喜欢得不得了。这么说吧，晚上看书会忘了时间，即就是强迫
自己上床，却也是激动得睡不着。或者说，这本书是一本这样的书： a fiction book
that I hope it is nonfictional badly-:)
这次书中的开篇章一下就吸引了我，我当时就很惊讶作者如何能把白万年前海岛形成之
前那些火山啊，地震的事情描写得这么生动，然后就是发现了james michener的传奇人
生，才算是明白了一点。
第二章讲到了Bora Bora人怎么去了夏威夷，我当时的感触就是，古人真是太执著太厉
害了，当现代人无法理解他们那么小的船，花那么长的时间发现夏威夷，很多时候我们

TAOJJBTCRF对于人物个性和人物关系发展的入微刻划，强烈的令人胆战心惊的气氛的
cultivate，梦幻般的摄影，天衣无缝的音乐，对社会心理的真实写照。所有电影元素
都没有表现的再好的了。非常可惜这部电影只在有限的电影院里放映了有限的时间就下
线了。华纳兄弟的市场推广做得太差了，导致年度最佳影片（本人认为）没多少人看过
，真是浪费。
Jesse James 成功地描绘在貌似平静的画面下人物复杂多变而冲突的性格及心理状况。
Pitt 迷人的微笑会让你一度忘记他是一个危险的人物，而转瞬之间又露出冷血的峥嵘
面目。他朔造的这一形象可媲美Godfather的Michael Coleone。 Casey Affleck 先是
一迷恋崇拜Pitt的嫩头青,到真正接触加入Pitt后，却形成了对之深入骨髓的恐惧；别

我就把去年的贴里找点出来重新贴一下吧。
GAS当然很重要，但是文章去年才发，对于他评院士应该不是最重要的贡献。
个人觉得他最重要的发现是发现ubiquitin signaling不光可以诱导蛋白降解，也可以
激活信号通路，而且是一个非常general的mechanism.最早他是在NFkB领域提出的。而
那个时候IkBa的ubiquitination导致IkB降解已经是非常经典的机制，所以当时他的理
论被认为是匪夷所思，被一帮老学霸如MK等打压。后来被多个实验室证实，而且在其他
信号通路比如DNA damage response中也是一种非常普遍的机制。
