Darrell Issa是美国加利福利亚州，第49选区现任众议院共和党籍议员。这次特朗普王
朝的中期选举，他考虑到自己已到退休年龄，主动放弃竞选，新选出的民主党议员将在
明年元月接替他的议席。
他在1953年，出生于Ohio州的黎巴嫩裔的美国移民家庭，长期生活在犹太人社区。1970
年高中毕业后参军，经训练成了美军的排雷手，什么地雷炸弹的，他三下五去二就能撤
除爆炸引信。两年后因父亲身体不行需要照顾而退伍，后挣了个职业教育文凭，在社会
蹉跎几年后，又去预备役将校训练团深造，于1976年官至上尉。1980年再次退伍，从此

单就那个I-20的几个日期。没有问题。当时的
INS和国际学生办公室是这样处理的：
96年初录取的时候学校发I-20.一共四页。跟
录取通知书就一起就给学生寄过去了。第一页
和第三页都是学生/学校信息页。拿它去签证。
入境的时候看。管入境的给第一页和第三页都
分别盖章，这就是96年的第一次入境的章。
到学校交给国际学生办公室ISSA之后学校保留
第三页第四页。第一第二页学生撕下来自己拿着。
作为证明以学生身份入境的合法证明。当时的三个
传奇是1）TA RA 工作时间不能超过一半。即使
RA全天干活累得跟狗一样。
2）GPA如果低于B（还是C？），RA就没了。身份
失效就变成黑下来。
3）如果drop课，那么就不是full time学生，F1
身份失效就变成黑下来。
当时的说法时在学习期间发生123，那么ISSA就会
在I-20第三页第四页上做标注，那么F1就没了。
另一个传奇故事是F1周末打餐馆工当早茶推车的。
好死不死吃饭的一个就是本校ISSA管学生的。认出来
了。F1因此没了。

美国的高科技公司提供各种科技专才的服务。吃到一半他突然问：“你们公司还有华人
当副总(VP)的吗？如果有我想请他吃饭，就是随便聊聊”我想了一下，回答：“以前是
有的，现在最高的也就是director级别的了”。朋友当然不只是想聊聊天，他的工作就
是同这些科技公司搞好关系，这样才能有机会把自己的人塞进去。他叹了口气，说到：

lawmakers are beginning to realize that, however they feel about the shape

负责任, 一般秘书都提醒学生注册课程的时间。你是老板自己招的，不是系里统一招生
的，所以秘书也未必知道你的情况，要自己去问去找。
当然有research 的课程，修完规定课程的学生都可以只注册这个学分。来美国什么都
要靠自己，没人整天告诉你该干什么了。另外，ISSA的人我大都接触过，觉得都还不错
，认真，比较专业，有什么事情一般也会主动提前提醒你，你这个真的没办法。 |

他们有多富有？根据胡润报告，有203名人大代表位列中国最富裕的1,271人之列。
腾讯联合创始人兼CEO的马化腾是人大代表。他身家170亿美元。小米创始人雷军身家
140亿美元，也是人大代表。
中共人大代表的财富令美国国会议员相形见绌。十名最有钱的中共人大代表的身家加起
来有1,840亿美元，而最富裕的十名美国国会议员的财产加起来只有19亿美元。
最富裕的国会议员Darrell Issa拥有身家4.48亿美元。如果他加入中共人大，他的财富
将只能排到第163名。
这些亿万富豪在北京到底做什么？中共人大排场很大，但是立法审议不多，虽然有一些
投票，但是共产党的提案总是被通过。
