1. 10-2003 确诊，07-2004终于手术切除，期间Jobs一直在试自己选的diet疗法。扫描发现癌变在扩大才动了手术，这段时间癌转移的多少不可知，但肯定越拖转移的越多。
2.手术后没化疗和放疗。Jobs 2005年演讲说这表明病情乐观，不知是哪个庸医给他灌输的。2004年手术是大面积切除，部分胰腺和胃和小肠，胆和胆管都切除，目的是要消除扩散，但不系统化疗和放疗怎么能最大程度减少扩散威胁？哪个外科大夫这么信自己的手艺？
3.2009年换肝，这在扩散性癌治疗是有争议的，因为换肝后压制免疫反应有可能促进别处癌的生长。也有可能当时肝已经不行了没办法。
这种癌正常治疗大多数可活10年以上，Jobs真该到东岸Hopkins或Harvard找个靠谱的大夫。

C-peptide level can only be released by normal "islet cells". Insulinoma
does not contain normal "islet cells" which could not efficiently cleave pro
-insulin peptide to Cpeptide. Waiting for more evidence. |

一方面是insulin resistant, 一方面islet大量分泌insulin，两个是先有鸡还是现有
蛋还很难说。但只要这个平衡还在，就不会发病。
发病的关键是islet被stressed out了，不能再提供大量insulin了，而insulin
resistant还在，所以血糖就上去了。
AMPK是个好东西，感觉就是mimic exercise的效果。AMPK作为target的话，应该开发
activator吧。这个，实现起来，是不是比inhibitor要难度大一点呢。

If this is the case you might go to Univesity of Minnesota Fairview
hospital. They are doing auto islet transplantation.
The prcedure will be as follows: Your pancrease will be removed. Islet
cell will be harvested. The cells will be transplanted back to your liver.
The cell will grow in your liver. 50% of chance you will not get diabetes.

a). RCC mets to pancrease is rare. But it happens. I guess it has something
to do with anatomy. They are all retroperitoneal organs.

This is interesting. If it is the case, the treatment should focus on mets
not the islet cell hyperplasia, right? So I wonder what endocrinologists can

人曾在天津呆过，天津韩国人很多，听说青岛大连也很多。有报道说韩国在北大的留学

中越西沙之争再起。在中国国内很多人，特别是年轻一辈的人都觉得不可思议，为什么
一向“没有争议”的西沙群岛突然就变成了“中越争议”的群岛了。这个感觉并不奇怪
，在中日钓鱼岛之争中，很多日本人的感觉也是类似。事实上，越南现代史上对西沙的
主权要求可以追溯到1930年代，比中国对钓鱼岛的主权主张还要早40年。
越南和西沙群岛的关系极深，因此在历史上有很多有利于越南方面的证据。在这儿无法
一一论述，本文着重讨论一下越南在18世纪时对西沙的统治。
在十八世纪，越南正处于后黎朝，但实际上是南北分裂，北方由郑主政权把持，南方由
