約70%的褔音派教徒支持共和黨候選人，褔音派在許多關乎避孕、墮胎、同性戀權利及

和福音派。到1940-50年代，主要透過不同的傳播媒體、佈道大會、神學院及著作，使

之后，共和党屡次提交法案，企图Ban同性婚姻，都被当时的民主党多数派议长否决。
中期选举，共和党在众院获得多数。
今年二月，众院以 62-37大比分通过禁止同性婚姻的议案. （刚才那个19岁ISU学生
Zach作证的录像就在这个时候） 下一步，这个议案会到参院。但参议院的民主党领袖
已经承诺会否决这个议案。
Iowa民调的同性婚姻支持率是44% (2010) 这是已经实现同性婚姻州里面最低的，也
是唯一低于50%的。

winner都不是最后的nominee，重要的是trump怎么处理，他没啥政治经验，一旦处理不
好会严重影响后边。过完新年，看trump如何冲刺。
反过来想，要是trump赢了 iowa，这nominee 是不是就没啥悬念了。这是gop 当权派唯
一可以阻止trump的机会，trump要是输了，gop会接机打压，希望trump 犯错，然后推

民或者每决定，或者投其他人。按Iowa Caucus的规则，不到15％的候选人自动淘汰，
他们的支持者必须在剩下的人里选边站。所以最后可能就是这四个人能拿到选票（

Down-town Iowa City is lively, with lots of pubs. The city also has a top 10
Children's hospital, a good public library, and many nice little shops. For
weekend getaways, Chicago is 3.5 hours away and Minneapolis is 5.
I lived there for 5 years, and brought up a little one there. I always miss
that place. |
