所所长蒲慕明荣获2016年度格鲁伯神经科学奖。
蒲慕明将获得50万美元的现金奖励和一枚金质奖章，该奖项将在11月份举行的第46届国
际神经科学年会上颁发。
该奖项称，基于对体外培养和体内神经系统的研究，蒲慕明揭示了决定神经元生长以及
突触连接强度的基本原理（记者注：突触是两个神经元相互接触区域形成的功能结构）
。他定义了突触可塑性的时间性参数，比如依赖神经元放电脉冲时序而决定其突触连接
是加强还是减弱。他还揭示了神经元是如何根据其细胞内部信号分子浓度做出生长方向
的决策。
该奖项还称，因为许多独创性的实验，蒲慕明阐明了神经元可塑性变化的基本逻辑和规
则。他对神经科学极具创新性的研究赢得了来自同行的广泛赞誉。
格鲁伯基金会在2011年，由耶鲁大学和帕特里夏、彼得·格鲁伯达成协议，接替帕特里

你的理解是对的，C-trap accumulate ion 跟Oribtrap scan ion 可以同时进行的，所
以时间上不累加，长的那个决定总时间。
orbitrap scan time 跟resolution的是正比。就是scan时间越长 ，resolution 越高
。Q-E现在在12Hz下的resolution是17，500，1.5Hz下resolution 是160，000.
Resolution 只跟scan 时间有关。
所以Q-E 最快也要83ms 才能得到一张谱图，最慢667ms一张谱图。
在Orbitrap扫描期间，富集的离子都必须在C-trap里面等着。C-trap accumulation
time 最短10ms以上，可以延长来增加sensitivity (最佳值在250ms左右），但是必须
跟orbitrap的扫描时间匹配。
另外C-trap accumulate ion 跟Oribtrap scan ion 可以同时进行的，所以时间上不累
加，长的那个决定总时间。

用imread把每张图读进matlab,然后把每张剪裁一下，拼成一个620*930的图Ione
让后我想用imwrite把Ione存出来，可是却总有下面的错误

而且奇怪的是当我用同样的方法去处理另外一组20张512*512的16位Intensity Image时
却没有任何问题
唯一区别在于这组的Ione只有348*435。

I think Li-ion battery may have better energy density comparing with
most of the rechargable battery chemisties. Lithium is the lightest
metal you can have (except metal Hydrogen), and Li-ion battery has
the highest output voltage (can go as high as 3.8~4.2V). The most
commonly used Li-ion batteries nowdays are Lithium-cobalt-carbon,
the chemistry is shown below:

时候开始的，这 Ion-Beam 技术其实是作为登月中的某关键一环的技术，我本人不是学
物理对 ION-Beam也不懂，但听那 CTO作过报告，说是这技术可用到航天登月上，但最
后其实没用上。 奇怪的是，那个破公司自六十年代以来就存在，每年可从国家拿到些
Funding， 理由是美国不想放弃这种技术，但也就够着过活，直到上世纪九十年代，
IBM的某部门对这技术有兴趣， 才有机会扩大规模。
从那个公司的经历来看，我真怀疑登月的真实性，而且美国其实没有完全放弃对登月的

我在 Hybrid Car/Bus 这个行业中，但是我不懂电池。我们公司接触过的电池只
有 NiMH 和 Lithium ion (polymer?)，其他的除了 lead-acid 我都没听说过。
所以这两种应该是最有前途的。从最近的几个 project 中，感觉锂电池的性能
是我们 desirable 的，比 NiMH 要好。

关于护照，我还看到过一个例子，作者说他的护照已经过期了，问爸爸妈妈签证有没有
问题。。。
提醒各位，护照要过期赶紧该renew renew,该换新护照就换新护照，不要等到最后一分
钟。

专利以前有2个pending，得问前老板。现在老板刚刚申请一个新专利。
博士期间主要做项目 biosensor for detection of HIV virus; 现在主要项目（
postdoc）water sensor for detection of heavy metal ions and E.coli in
drinking water, and Lithium ion battery applications. 因为，我一直在做公司项
目，所以文章不是很强。
个人情况：
第三国PhD毕业，应用化学专业； 硕士是凝聚态物理专业，美国一般学校博士后2年多。
J1已经waive 掉，但是合同11月中旬就要结束，所以时间比较紧 。
律师：想请个好的律师，请给推荐。
