CHICAGO来说，从开始下一点雪，主干道上无数扫雪车都在不停的扫雪撒盐。除了特大
的暴风雪，基本主干道不会受阻的。
就是像10年那样特大的雪，INTERSTATE都是畅行的。但是湖边高速因为有些人死车最后
中断了。
至于人行道，大部分家庭都有扫雪机。扫雪机突突就清出一条路了。 |

安全带。200+45，一查还要扣4点。关键是根本没有到70，还有只是在拿驾照的时候当
它面解的安全带。约时间上庭，3点，但是要早到，问2点可以吗？答还要早。结果我1
点到，就我一个人，2点后有人来了，3点发号。还好来的早，拿了1号。和prosecute谈
，问我买点不？450，回答没钱，超速认了就想减钱，prosecute说减到59/50，85刀认
了。但是安全带不认，他说这没法减，我说不认。见官吧，在一单上签名，发现两条后
都是G，当时没有明白。第一次上庭，还排第一号，站哪里都不知道。老头问读了罚单
号问我认不，回答超速认了安全带不认。老头急了，说你都签字了还不认，我说
prosecute弄错了。法官让我再去和prosecute谈，结果那厮一见我就说这个dismiss了
。又回去见官，老头一看，说罚60加34上庭费，我放弃权利。老头问我还有神木话，我
说这是我拿驾照10年来第一次被警察叫停，觉得有点怨，老头说很好，滚吧。共耗时2.

在美国，Interstate Highway分为Urban Interstate和Rural Interstate。Interstate
的mileage也主要是Rural Interstate的（Interstate between Cities). 而美国的
Rural Interstate，也主要都是4-lane Divided （or 2 lanes each way）。中国不也
是4-lane Divided 吗？
就是美国的Interstate的长度，也是用Linear Mileage来统计的。看看这个吧：

你说的用总面积，那叫Lane Mileage。（Lane Mileage = Linear Mileage x Number
of Lanes). 用Lane Mileage来做统计，只有用它来描述一个Transportation Highway

interstate I-XX一般应该叫interstate expressway,而US xx 和state route一般叫high way,
3位数的interstate 是支路，如果第一位是偶数，这条支路的两头都可以汇上一条主要的interstate. 如果第一位是奇数，此支路只有一头汇上interstate主路。比如DC附近的I-495和I-395.
3位数的US highway也经常表示是一条支路。总的来看us highway编号比较乱，按方向的顺序不明显
state route各州命名规则不同，有的州也模仿interstate。有的州命名原则似乎是尽量和us route一致（比如MA?)有的州在state route之下还有第四级编号公路county route,一般为四位数。而很多州似乎是尽量不一致以避免混乱。毕竟很多人喜欢说走xx公路，一般不太区分是什么类型的路。（这一点似乎美国人比中国人稍微注意一点）
US highway 和state route可能会不连续。
有的interstate和us highway的繁忙支路会在最前面加bus |

也叫做Freeway——Freeway的两层意思包括自由和后来人们解释成的免费，
