发帖数: 187 | 1 Intel的是第一个shift， 7:30 - 5 pm， 但是on call是必须的。我看着glassdoor的
intel的评价都不怎么好，也许只有进去了才知道吧。
我也同意工作不能只为钱，Oregon的incometax还有10%呢。如果选intel了就一直做下
去了，也没有什么跳槽的机会了，估计今后要是回国发展也没得太多选择。不像化工方
向的公司还是很多的。
但我在intel的同学似乎都对拿着高工资的intel工作很享受，尽管我感觉很虚荣，有点
打肿脸充胖子的感觉。好不好只有自己才知道吧。 |

事情。我6/01向Fragomen提交了所有申请材料，大概多久能approve? 7/18入职来得及
么?有被拒的情况么？IntelNewHire告诉我up to 6~8 weeks， 但是Fragomen却告诉我3
~4 months，有点担心HM等不了，收回offer，因为听说intel存在因为EL时间太长的而

manager之前也没招中国人的经历。现在问题来了：
那个manager说由于中国是export controlled country，他们招中国人必须要向美国政
府证明招不到美国人适合这个职位才能招中国人，而为了证明这个他们必须要把所有符
合他们工作描述的人面试一遍，所以这个过程要1个半月。。。。。。。。不知道这里
有没有人知道到底这是真的还是这个manager不了解这个流程？之前没听说intel有这么
麻烦啊。。。。。面试感觉也还不错，manager也发信说他们组里人对我评价都很高。
但是想到要等1个半月，还要证明比其他所有符合条件的人都强就觉得不靠谱。。。。
。。
然后前几天学校的career fair，当时面试我的一个人（不是manager）来学校，然后我
们约了一起吃饭，他建议我问问有没有认识的朋友在intel的，比较熟悉intel招中国人
的流程的，介绍给他们的manager，因为他觉得那个manager确实是不熟悉流程。

intern，通过了两轮面试后就一直没消息，今天联系HR后得到这样的回复：
I apologize for the delay and miscommunication. Intel has to go through a
very lengthy process to hire Chinese nationals. This process for full time
hires can take very long. A recent college graduate hired two years ago
took
six months to clear the approvals.
That being the case we will not be able to extend an internship offer at
this time.

既然是亲身经历,那么恐怕还应该记得入职培训的时候讲的CC的处理方法吧?既然上过CC的课,自然对这个问题应该是很清楚的了. |

是到目前为止一个半月了，不是没有消息就是拒信。根本连电面的消息都没有。
背景：我毕业于一个三流学校，方向是无机纳米材料，文章倒是发了一些，光一作就有
5片。现在有绿卡（1A），在国家实验室博后工作，并且投的时候让一个曾经认识的学
校的学姐（希腊人）给内推了。
我认识的几个近一年左右入intel的，背景除了学校稍好一些外，其他背景（科研，经
历，身份）都不如我，都进去了。难道Intel就认学校？也不应该啊，我那个学姐就是
和我一个学校出来的，科研比我差远了。
各位在Intel的朋友能不能指点迷津？不胜感激！！ |

到人的岗位，不会在外面招人，特别是process/packaging engineer。
OR的岗位不少都要求绿卡，但或许会有个别面向外面的openning。
最后Intel和Apple不一样，没有内推光在官网上投，基本不会理你，而且普通内推仅在
像前两年一样Intel大规模招phd时有用，现在的情形，VP内推都没用！别说一般同事了
。除非招人的组的HM自己推你。所以进Intel基本只和运气有关系，和实力关系不是特
别大 |

我最早发邮件问Law Firm要，他们回答我说他们只负责收集我的材料，然后把材料发给
Intel，实际提交和tracking的工作还是Intel负责。然后我就问Intel负责我的HR，她
又不知道如何回答我，把我的问题又forward回了Law Firm，然后Law Firm有给我回答
了一封一抹一样的邮件。。
我从Law Firm的邮件里看出Intel应该还有个Export Team负责办理，但是来来回回也发
了很多邮件，我也不想显得很push他们的样子。所以我想问问大家，当时都有拿到类似
tracking number的吗？

我的情况是这样的：
5周多前Intel onsite interview，上周问了F1身份的问题（OPT等）。据HR说目前材料在
移民律师那 （是要提交到国土安全局那？），不知道还要等多久。同时另外一个offer
这周必须要给答复（已经延期一次了）。
我个人更喜欢Intel和波特兰。如果有80-90%的概率会收到Intel的offer可能就会
拒了另一个offer。当然最不希望发生的就是两头都落空，毕竟工作机会得来不易。
请问大家觉得我的到offer的概率有多大？后面的流程到底是怎么样？有没有人到我这
一步后还fail的？
