很大反响。 其实此类案件并非个案，也远未终结。近年来，入境美国后非法滞
留的中国大陆人员人数不断上升，这些非法移民背景复杂，不仅有教育程度不高的农民
、工人，也有受过高等教育的中小企业主、科研人员、教师、医生等。他们大多数人英
语程度较低，所掌握的技能无法适应美国社会需要，只得游离于主流社会之外，靠赚华
人的钱维持生计，生活艰难。为了获取在美国居留的合法身份，不少移民纷纷打起“政

非法移民案件，其中申请政治庇护的案件中大多数是虚假的。特别是近年来，一些中国
非法移民在美国当地法轮功学员和移民服务中心指使下，伪造自己在中国大陆修炼法轮
功被迫害的材料，向移民部门申请政治庇护，此类案例在申请政治庇护案件中比例很大
。在我所了解的案件中，真正出于纯政治原因申请政治庇护的非法移民的比例仅占1%-2

Equal Opportunity)。但是实际上，并没有切实到职场和政坛的实处。华人的机会，可
以从一句俚语中窥见一斑（Chinaman's Chance) 华人在美国，无论上班或者做小生意
，都是兢兢业业，与世无争，甚至于逆来顺受。上一次重大事件，华人参与了政治进程
，还是1989年六四绿卡的时候。大家参与了，争取了，能够取得共识，无论结果，都是
族群的重大进步，也是对于民主进程的积极贡献。
美国社会虽然有一些优点，也有许多现实的问题。比如花街的贪婪，政府的低效甚至停
摆，医保公司，石油公司，电气公司，各级政府追求高额利润（或税收），造成中产阶
层的破产。在一定程度上，民怨也是逐渐积累。前不久，正当政府停摆前后，高盛公司
还因为房产证券的欺诈行为，与司法部庭外和解。控制媒体的大财团不希望民众聚焦在
政府的低效、利益输送，或者花街的贪婪与欺诈行为上。于此相反，他们总是聚焦在无
关民生，不影响他们发财的事件上，来分散大家的注意力。虽然华人普遍是工薪阶层，
