It may be caused by the fact by that RedHat 9 uses POSIX thread model (a
specific version of glib) by default. Read RedHat 9 Release Notes, it may
contain information on how to install Oracle 9x. There is an evironment
variable needs to be set to install Oracle. Let me know if you cannot find
RedHat 9 Release Notes.

I configured a couple of 10g RAC (both are 2 node on Linux) last year to
host a sort of mixed but more DW intensive application. If I turn on LB (
either client side or server side), the performance got hit pretty bad due
to heavy traffic on interconnect (gigabyte switch). I have to disable LB for
for those 10g RACs to pass the performance testing. Now there are both
running well for about 6 month in production without LB. Maybe a bias, but

I did try the 2012 RC0, 2008 R2 evaluation, 2008 R2 Express on my 64 bit
Win7 pro OS. I know I am naive, but none works for me.
The installation of each one was smooth, no error or at most one warning
happened during all the installations. But I can not connect to the SQL
server data engine, no matter "local" or SQLEXPRESS, from SSMS!
If you can kindly advice some instruction, that is appreciated. Thanks. |

I have the following configuration in my old Apt:
PC use wireless connection to NetGear router;
NetGear Router connects to SpeedStream (DSL Modem).
Everything works fine.
Now I move to a new Atp. the same telephone number.
However DSL does not work.
Then I install the SBC yahoo DSL (by using a cable connecting SpeedStream to
PC). However, in the process of installation, the software cannot detect the
Modem.
I do have turned on the modem...
Anyone can help?

4, 网上做research, 发现需要进BIOS disable integrated Graphic card。
5，Reboot，进BIOS disable integrated video card，用VGA cable 连接monitor。初
始有Windows 7 启动图像，随后黑屏。
6，Reboot，用HDMI cablel从installed graphic card连接monitor, 初始有Windows 7
启动图像，随后闪过蓝屏报错，黑屏。

install现在根本花不了多少时间也就20-30分钟，大部分驱动也不用单独装了，最大的
显卡驱动随便装个官方的版本能update就行
花时间的还是打几百个windows updates，装office，各种浏览器，插件啥的，这些全

此外，C:/Windows/Installer/的权限设置的也没错，排除了文件夹安装权限的问题。
所以强烈怀疑是注册表问题。
我试着将注册表跟work的机器上的注册表一个一个地对，也不行。而且每修正一次注册
表选项，报错的码也不一样。
现在急需使用Java，安装jre的错误时常出现。求大虾们指点。 如果能有彻底清除Jre
安装并且重新安装的办法最好。现在怀疑因为一些注册信息的问题无法uninstall jre6
，也不确定它是否在work。谢过了先。 |

there is no CDROM. Wired and wireless network are both working.
I have used pxe boot to install windows many times, just not sure which
executable to run first to kick of the linux install.
