找工作中。local的一个业界公司，背景还算match（7-8年前做过的东西，后来一直没
有再碰）。昨天刚网上交了简历，今天应该像是HM的人物的，要我选电面还是去喝咖啡
，我回了e-mail说都可以，后来她决定informal coffee chat，时间是明天12：30pm
（during lunch time），还说可能见到 other team members。没有更多的信息了。
从来没有遇到过这种informal coffee chat情况。版内查询了200天以内的标题党，no
hit。还没有来得及查询内容。
请大家建议：（1）着装；（2）谈论话题；（3）如何打动HM，得到on-site的机会。多

b. you can know what you need to improve in the 2nd half semester
c. if you make changes per informal evaluation, make this very clear that
you consider the students' suggestions - for example, give more extra credit

不了，而且担心年纪大了转起来很费劲。自己对UX/UI design 有兴趣，看到附近学校
的master of library & information science有user experience 和information
analytics方向 不知道值不值得念? 毕业后工作是否难找?
另外也考虑了商学院的supply chain management, 不知道如果没有相关工作经历
fresh master毕业出来能不能找到工作?

我是04年到美国，08年换了护照。然后10年回国的时候，签了J1入境。也就是说我的J1
visa是在新护照上面的。
我现在在J1 豁免中，材料寄出了才发现好像老护照的information我好像没有寄。因为
当时网上说的是：current passport data page. 我就脑子一根筋的就current
passport寄了。结果现在我也不敢随便乱补材料，怕人家到时候get confusing. 请问
大家豁免的时候都有寄老护照的information嘛？有没有人没有寄老护照也照样收到
waiver了？

Online application 后, 接到通知去面试, ONSITE面试完后被要求在那儿填
application form,里面有一堆的personal information需要填, 说是为了做
background check用, 那些信息包括SSN, date of birth什么的呢, 觉得很奇怪.
再填一staffing company的application时也有类似的确personal information要填,
真是很奇怪.
是很正常呢, 还是不正常呀? |
