发帖数: 292 | 1 Ubuntu 8.04, 现在蹲在地下室，总算把无限网卡搞定了，能上网，可是看不到局域网
的邻居。
DHCP得到的IP是 192.168.1.104，能上网，但是无法访问192.168.1.1（路由器），
ping的结果是Destination Host Unreachable。同样，在局域网内部其他电脑也不能访
问这台电脑share出来的东西。
只要拉一根网线顺楼梯走下来，就一切都好，所以说samba配置没有问题的。
而且我特地把路由器关掉，跑过来看，果然没有网络了，所以我所连的肯定是自己家的
路由器，不是邻居的。

By default，在 /etc/network/interfaces 里，auto lo 和 iface lo inet loopback
被 comment 掉了。所以，localhost 不能访问，当然就不能设置 DISPLAY 为
localhost:0.0。
今天设置另一个 daemon 时，报错说不能访问 localhost，才意识到。
tnnd，为啥 debian 的 default interfaces 里这两句给 comment 了？耍俺啊。。。 |

So i cannot use command line to change this anymore ?
BTW,
in /etc/network/interfaces,
i only see
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback
nothing configured for eth0.
But when i boot up, it's using dhcp ?
Where does it get the configuration now ? |

Fetch a copy of findpart from :
http://home19.inet.tele.dk/svolaf/utilities.htm
Run it on your computer, save the result. it should find out the start and end
sector of your lost partition. If you are brave enough, you can create the
partition yourself with fdisk. Otherwise, post your problem on news group
comp.sys.ibm.pc.hardware.storage
Hopefully Svend(author of findpart) will see the post and help you, as what I
had experienced. |

If you have backup of system dir, then check sum.
search the suid file which is made recently.
search inet.d to see if there is a backdoor in it.
search your server program to see if there are some you don't know.
search the every user to see if their passwd can crack by john.
search if their ever have any sniffer program runs in your subnet.
Best way is to back your data, reinstall your system from CD. |

我个人认为HFT这几年一直都在down
我这里讲的是狭义的HFT，或者叫Ultra HFT。这个东西的这几年的发展大概
是这样的：先是00年左右的decimalization开始，这个时候离火还差的很远。
然后NASDAQ收购INET（岛） NYSE收购ARCA（群岛），这个时候开始火了，几乎
是指数级别的上升，到08年10月达到巅峰。那个时候是最好的时候，首先revenue
非常高，其次人少，大部分的shop都在40，50人左右或者以下，可想而知分起钱
来有多爽。
接下来的世道基本是螺旋式下降，除了flash crash之外，基本不见起色，到了今天
，nyse一天的成交量大概从巅峰的15b到6，7b，VIX也在20左右，每千股或者每百股
毛利大概是08年的一半，所以US equity market的油水基本上没有了。而且基本上最
好的trade已经进入硬件的时代了，infinity band， celoxcia都是标配。不少广告你

250 a month for 5 phones. The plan is identical to what I have other than
you have to buy data packs for the inet. 40$ per 1GB and that actually will
last me 6 - 8 months because all i do is check email with it. They don't
care if you have an unlocked Iphone or anything. My cost for 5 phones on
this plan is 145!!! I called T-Mobile and told them I was moving and they

offering 0% APR have 3% or 4% (sometimes higher) balance transfer fees. If
you're looking to make a big balance transfer that 4% can mean a lot of
money. I know there are good deals out there that offer cash and points
but this post is mostly for folks who are looking for no or low transfer
fees.
