1. 先采集数据
a)试着写个code, 从版面把数据export出来，按日期count一下unique id#.
b)从public domain 找上证指数。
c)把两个数据按日期merge 一下。
2. Quality control
1) 去或impute missing value
2) 去 outlier
3) 看看数据，根据下面分析要不要做 normal transformation
3. 考虑用 time series analysis 或者 functional data analysis 做分析 (数据
correlated!)
4. Power analysis 就不做了，sample 应该足够大了

要是当前工作的公司在裁人，安全起见， 所以开始骑驴找马。 Recruiter 电话很多，
但是到HM 只有5个， 三个onsite， 1 个offer。 也算圆满了。工资少了些， 主要是
离LD 从250 mile 变成 90 mile， 钱不是很重要了。 有点遗憾的是， 绿卡又得从新

要做对raw数据的classification，information/features retrieval 等不太复杂的
mining。在这种情况下，计算效率远比其他重要。
根据我自己的工作来看，简单model大行其道有主要有以下原因：
（1） prediction: 一个较好的model能更好的解释test data的内在特点和发现
insights，但是大多在prediction上很难有显著的提高，特别是对classification。
（2） raw data：real数据往往太dirty，data cleaning和imputing很影响model的效
果。
（3） IP：头头们都喜欢能重复使用的东东，大大简化工作流程和提高效率。model越
简单，适应性越好，越容易推广
（4） 统计背景：要根据data的特点来设计更好的model，有时还要自己搞算法来计算
，一般统计的PHD才能做。很多人只是“只其然，不知其所以然”，在这种情况下又如
何可以改进model？ |

you can also make a personal loan but of course you need to pay it back,
otherwise it becomes a gift. you need to pay some interest, either periodic
or imputed (loan note sold at discount). if so then you get to deduct
mortgage interest while your relative pays taxes on dividends or capital
gain. you just need to draw up the proper legal documentation.

delivering on your way to the hospital. Most likely it will take quite a few
hours from entering active labor to delivery. For my first one, I finished
a working day, found out I've got bloody show, and went to the hospital. My
second was scheduled, so I went to the office to arrange everything and

tell us Mortgage Statement INformation （Form 1098）
里面有个 box5 Real estate taxes Paid。我的 1098 表格里面没有。 我找出我
closing 的时候， 律师给我的 HUD-1，里面有一个 4th Qtr Taxes $2108. 这个是不
是就是 real estate taxes。
HUD-1 还有一个是有关tax 的 ， 是City Property Taxes 2 months $680 这是
Reservesdeposited with lender ， 不知道可不可以算到 real estate taxes 里面
2. HR block 还有一个问题我不太明白。

该公司是一家韩国的家族企业,规模在35人左右.面试我的两个工作人员表示非常愿意录

我可以熟练地使用韩语/英语/中文.
那情况就是,我来美时所用的签证是B2(我看签证上"Visa Type /Class"上写的是"R B1/
B2",那入
境时的I-94卡上的"Class"是B2).
我提前跟该公司提出,本人无工作许可.公司在见过我本人之后提出愿意给我做Sponsor,
但是相关
费用得本人自己负担(那是当然的了).

面试。
她上班第一天，我问她会什么，说dissertation做的是missing data, 比较normal
distribution,chisq distribution, T distribution data，用multiple imputation
的方法来做，有啥优缺点。。。然后问她，用什么软件做的，她说用的是SAS，data哪
来的，simulate的，时间关系，我没有继续问她毕业论文的问题
