board level designers. In most case is to suppport dual vendor and imprive
reliability. 90% works is to program ASIC registers.You may not be able to

我不知道楼主面的是哪个group的。我曾经面过video组的architecture engineer。他
们虽然叫architecture engineer,但做的工作就是谢谢 C model，更多的是validaton
，几乎没有system architecture design的成分。他们的职位要求也不是非要phd。所
以从值不值角度，两个工作半斤八两吧

是不是硬件工程师做好板子，告诉你什么register做什么用的，你就去设置，然后硬件
变了你就跟着变？以前做了好几年这种工作，基本都是repetitive work，啥经验值都
没长。
