I don't read grammar books, I learn the usage by imitating. I saw the usage

coworker tried to correct my calling of illegal immigrants.
Although it was a polite conversation in my case, I would not be surprised
there are impolite ones for somebody else.
To me, 称呼 of illegal or undocumented is minor. I believe you said
similar thing.

them again today. It was my first time to know that
1) they have >1 billion members!
2) you may never have chance to use your mileages in some popular routes,
like asia.
3) you need almost one year in advance to reserve using your mileages.
The customer agent in NWA is very impolite and patientless.
What a trash!
