一挑地方，比如有的地方你实在不愿意去，然后把剩下的都申请了把。
把时间花在更有意义的活动上去，比如考step3，做ob，找好的推荐信....

发帖数: 79 | 7 agree with clamchowder. You should apply as much as you can afford. For
pathology, even there are some restrictions posted on program's website, you
should still try it. With your background, you will do very well and get
many ivs.
For LOR, it is not bad for you to draft it by yourself. One thing I really
wanna tell ya from my experience: be personalized. A very generic LOR will
not help too much even it uses lots of good words.

"participation in NRMP", program size >10 (for AP/CP 4 years, meaning >2
resident per year, I think this is reasonable consideration in terms of
correlated specimen volume and teaching environment), and the result is
around 100 already. |

发帖数: 1027 | 18 这些商业性的实习机构我以前也联系过。Americlerkship是我们学校内科PD告诉我的，
他认可这个是hands-on clinical experience。还考虑过的是IMGprep，他们还提供了2
个referee让我联系，一个是印度女生，step1 fail，希望通过实习来弥补，非常执着
，她说通过这个机构买了malpractice insurance之后，再到其它地方找实习比较方便
。另一个联系人后来发现是这个版上的id，毕业年限很短，没有在美国念博士，他告诉
我关键是通过这个实习拿到有力的美国推荐信。
这些商业机构价格非常贵，2个月的实习要5000，再考虑住宿交通，总共要七八千的预
算。再要请假或请人带孩子，工资损失或daycare加上去是一笔很大的数字。这2个月到
底有多少时间在医院，多少hands-on，我没做过，单纯从网上看到的一些信息，应该有
相当一部分其实是在clinic。但是换个角度考虑，对比美国医学生的学费，4年十几万
的费用，这个短期实习就不显得那么贵了。问题是做了也不能保证match上，有很大的
