我的H1B receipt number 是WAC开头，i140的receipt number是LIN开头，开始一看觉
得most recent I797应该是i140的，后来又看到for form I129，这个i129是h1b的申请

是6月10日2015，也没有任何动静，他是转H1b，之前的确实还没过期，可是收到
receipt的当天就已经给新雇主工作了。
我当时没考虑这个情况就定了cruise，要去墨西哥湾的几个地方。我们有EAD/AP了，本
打算是用AP回美。但是据说离境（包括cruise），这样H1b申请就作废了？不想因为旅
行而影响了工作这头等大事。H1b transfer期间离境会如何？
5个月还没反应，我这着急，不知道能否online做service inquiry。

想直接在上海把签证续了，但是这个地点众说纷纭啊
问了律师说是不限制的，但得跟上海领馆确认他们收外地的
网上咨询了另外一个律师，说是第一次最好在广州，之后随便在哪里，因为
i129indicate了，上海可能会decline
有人这么做过的吗？家也不在广州其实，刚好去上海想顺道弄了，不想回个国还要到处
折腾，求助啊！！ |

and you are within the validity range, you can (and actually need to) work.
That has nothing to do with when you received the actual document.
The lawyer is just playing extra safe to cover his own ass, just in case
uscis didn't grant the applied starting date.
Let's start from the begining. In the I129 form, it states your "applied" h1
duration, e.g, 11/24/2009-11/23/2012. Usually people just apply for 3 years

律师会把原件寄过来，然后上半部分公司留着，
下半部分自己留着（右下角有i94卡，签证用的？）
那么，其他需要做什么？就这样等到生效日期自动从F1-opt转成H1b么？

your marriage certificate. And you may attach i129 and any document you
think may help USCIS to approve your application. I prepare for myself. I also submited my resume,
passport, EAD card, i 94. It does not matter if you attach some documents
that the officers won't even take a look. Just use a checklist and make the
docs organized. |

There must be something wrong when you filed the petition.
