今天收到学校的负责这个housing的人的回信， 说“you parents are not eligible
to live with you”， 含3个bedroom的apartment是为那些有2个以上小孩的家庭准备
的。
我们在这里感到很奇怪，居然学校还有这种规定。既然被学校称为“family house”，
况且我们的rent也每次都会按时交，学校为什么要干涉我的父母住进来？？！！！ 这
样子合理么？
在美几年了，深刻感觉到这边华人是弱势群体，很多时候遇到美国人奇怪的规定都不知

暑假我的一个亲戚要在Stanford Universty做本科的summer intern,早闻 Palo Alto附
近租房超级贵，Standford校内就更不知道住房情况得如何艰难了。不管怎样头大吧，
因为她父母都在国内，所以现在找房子的光荣问题就自然而然地交到我这当姨的身上了。
想问一下这里有没有熟悉在Stanford U校内（校外也可以）找temporary housing情况
的，6月中到8月中。或者这儿有没有人在斯坦福附近sublease housing的？ 如果有信
息可以告知十分感谢。 |
