子在没有吃药的情况下，体温正常。
周四早上，我带宝宝复诊了。这个医生是自从宝宝发烧以来见的第3个医生了，也是我
们一直找的宝宝医生。诊断结果是virus，宝宝肺部没有发炎，没有kawasaki的症状，
没有脑膜炎的症状。并告知若没有任何发炎症状，不会给宝宝开消炎药。
唯一建议是停止使用tyleno,用advil的infans' concentrated drops，若不发烧，不给
宝宝advil。同时，要把宝宝的体温记下来，周一，再次回医院复诊。若宝宝从这周四
到下周一还有发烧现象，周一就从新做进一步检查。
目前的宝宝状况，良好。自从周四早上至今，还没有发烧，一日三餐和2次奶都正常。
与生病以前不一样的是，晚上睡觉惊叫（像是做恶梦），来回来去的在床上翻滚，总之

点儿网聚的网友都爱听的主题：＂吃＂学英文。
我估计大家到餐馆都会点荤菜，像什么辣子鸡丁，猪肉粉条，爆炒牛肉，北京烤鸭之类
的。如果你留意动物及其相应肉类的英文名字的话，你会发现一个有趣的现象：
１）动物名和肉名不一样。比如牛：cow；牛肉： beef；小牛：calf；小牛肉：veal。
２）你如果再认真一点，看看语言的发展史，就会发现动物名 cow 和 calf 来自德语
；而肉名 beef 和 veal 来自法语。下面的单子把这种关系明确地显示出来：

我们每年都和朋友一起去抓螃蟹，今年目前去了两次。我们住在Gainesville，因此去
的海边都离Gainesville不远。
第一次，去了Cedar Key，从Gainesville沿着Archer road一直开，单程大约50多迈。
Cedar Key每天还有海鲜节，时间一般在10月，具体可google.
第二次，也就是上周末去了Horseshoe Beach，从Gainesville沿着Newberry road，单
程大约70迈。这边的螃蟹比Cedar Key要多一些，运气好的话，一只接一只的上来。
时间：事先在网上查潮水的起落时间，在落潮的时候更容易抓。
器具：去超市买网兜，用绳子系住，网兜中间绑上鸡腿（最好能提前一天买了，放得臭
一点）。把网兜放到水里，一般在靠近石头的地方，等在那里就好了，水如果不混的话
能看到大螃蟹爬过来，耐心一点，稳准狠。
带上cooler，若干塑料袋，手套等工具。另外我们上周末还抓了很多海螺，滋味也不错。
Cedar Key发展得比Horseshoe Beach要好，有海鲜节，有playground，现代化程度较高

已通过其它途径解决, 不需要你帮我做什么了, 但我原为此定的餐位仍有效. 虽然是公
款吃喝, 可我穷惯了, 觉得浪费掉有点可惜 , (我本人一年下来难得有几次这种档次的
大Party, 不知费城版上的ID们是否都夜夜笙歌), 故在此征一名能吃会喝且喜欢交际的
志愿者, 男女均可.
这是我公司的Holiday Party, 因圣诞节期间的恶劣天气及许多同事外出vacation而推
迟至一月份. 这个Party会有四百多人参加, 开几十大桌. 由于Crowne Plaza Hotel 只
有这么大的场地, 公司里有一半多人没有占到席位. 我本人不会喝酒, 不会讲英语, 不
会交际, 不会跳舞, 但我把参加 Holiday Party当作学习西方文化礼仪的小窗口, 当作
充分美帝资源的途径, 不知你是否认同.

外，SD的Westfield Shopping Mall还有UTC，NorthCounty，Carlsbad和downtown的Hor
ton Plaza。上次说了。这些Mall的特点其实都差不多。上文已经表过了。那这次就说说
这些mall里有什么extra的。（仅我知道的而已，不可能说得太全）
UTC呢。就是大家最最熟悉的了。偶也不好班门弄斧。但是为了骗包子，只好说说俺知道
的一些。对俺来说UTC Mall里最有意思的就是Food Court旁边的溜冰场。俺不会滑冰。
但是俺enjoy order some drink and food, sitting upstairs and watching people
skating. 有很多滑得很好，看着也是一种享受。此外，UTC area的Crate & Barrel是他
家chain里面比较大的一个。有一次陪本版著名ID去逛了一下UTC的Sport Charlet，发现

的。如果你留意动物及其相应肉类的英文名字的话，你会发现一个有趣的现象：
１）动物名和肉名不一样。比如牛：cow；牛肉： beef；小牛：calf；小牛肉：veal。
２）你如果再认真一点，看看语言的发展史，就会发现动物名 cow 和 calf 来自德语
；而肉名 beef 和 veal 来自法语。下面的单子把这种关系明确地显示出来：

since i started swimming for years. if i were in the open water, i could ha
ve died of it. it was a really sharp pain feeling. i had to grab it right
away and then rest and stretch right there and then with another hand
holding the side of the pool (to anchor myself).
