出现经典的冻住问题。无缘无故失去响应，hdtune最低速度只有1.4MB/s，硬盘嘎拉嘎
拉地响，有点像金属刀划过玻璃的声音。
太可恶了，还给了个rebate，现在不能退只能给seagate rma了。rma也只能换良品，而
且换了也不代表就没问题了。

几年前从IE转到火狐狸以后，比较满意。但是最近发现火狐狸的内存占用量越来越大，
而且速度也不行

这几天试验Chrome，感觉非常快，舒服多了，虽然一些熟悉的插件没有了，还是觉得彻
底改过来了。
至少在内存使用方面，Chrome强太多。
火狐狸经常上网几个小时以后，即便你的网打开的不多了，内存经常在1GB左右，貌似内存释放有问题。

品不详。Karlene Hoo的组找工作容易，不过她现在很多时间花在别的事情上，学生很大程度要靠自己。 polymer的方向, McKenna在圈子里是个牛人，不过跟他读Ph.D时间会很长。 找工作
的话， 过程控制方向比polymer要好一些。 最近这个系里进了几个bio方向的faculty, 估计09 fall会招一些这个背景方向的学生。
