我这么喜欢布努艾尔，看完法国导演莱奥·卡拉克斯（ Leos Carax）的《神圣车行》
（Holy Motors）当然要忍不住联想起《一条安达鲁狗》来。《神圣车行》的十个故事
都与电影一开始那个被汽笛惊醒的男人（卡拉克斯自己）有关，他撞破布满白杨树图案
墙纸覆盖的暗门，进入沉睡中观众的梦。这十个梦由一条统一的线索和人物串起，但彼
此却并不相关。它们在抗拒逻辑的同时却在情感上与现实的生活紧密交织，根本无法区
分什么是剧本的设置，什么是真实的情动。这难道不正与布努艾尔和达利那个超现实的
荒谬之梦如出一辙吗？
既然想到了《一条安达鲁狗》，那也免不了有人会想逐个分析每个画面的象征意义。比
如计程车司机席琳（Edith Scob）带起面具，那一幕当然是向法国导演乔治·弗朗叙（
Georges Franju）的经典恐怖片《无面之眼》(Les yeux sans visage)致敬；又比如老
人与年轻女子的临死别言，怎么不是亨利·詹姆斯的《贵妇肖像》重现？但我对这些表

亞洲通訊社日前報導了一些消息，關於中國大陸天主教某些合法主教被教廷要求辭職，
為讓位給非法的，甚或被絕罰的，所謂主教。接着，在媒體上出現了一些不同的陳述和
解釋，相當混亂，大家又知道我早前曾去羅馬，就都來問我能否為事件作出一些澄清。
其實去年十月汕頭莊建堅主教已收到教廷的指示，他請我幫他聯絡教廷。我托人親手把
他的信送去傳信部，又請傳信部部長轉交一份副本給教宗，不過我不知道那副本是否到
達教宗枱上。還好那時韓大輝總主教還在羅馬，他向教宗道別時有機會和他談了汕頭及
閩東的事，原來教宗並不知情，且答應韓總主教他會關注。
聽了韓總主教轉告我教宗說的話我放心了。但十二月發生的事使我更加吃驚。當傷心而
年老的莊主教請我把他對「教廷赴北京代表團」所傳訊息向教宗回應的信傳去羅馬，我
當然一口答應了。但我有什麼辦法能保證他的信能到教宗手裡（我自己的許多信也不肯
定是否到了他手裡）？
為能肯定教宗聽到我們的聲音，我毫不猶疑決定去羅馬走一趟。我一月九日晚上啟程，
