看到版上几位女ID(我猜想是女生）很热切的讨论电影Carol,觉得很有趣。
Carol是根据女性作家Patricia Highsmith 1952年写成的小说The Price of Salt 改变
的。有记者问Cate Blanchett,如果Highsmith还活着，她会对Carol满意吗？Cate 认为
或许不会吧，因为Highsmith是很挑剔的人，有"terse和abrupt"的名声。早年Cate就曾
参演她小说改编的电影The Talented Mr. Ripley，从那个时候起Cate就对Highsmith的
作品感兴趣了。
观众对Carol的讨论特别热衷于两位主演的关系。其实我觉得对Rooney来说，那是小女
孩对大明星的崇拜，they both are straight.
影片的表演者中唯一位真正有同性经历的是Abby的扮演者Sarah Paulson。她在好莱坞
曾有过一位长达5年的同性伴侣，但在2009年时分手了.难怪她在interview中对Abby的

Newton on the bench.
Cameron Newton played Saturday -- and that was the story of the day. The

这里有过一个人问过什么作者类似McCarthy http://ask.metafilter.com/136116/Are-there-any-authors-like-Cormac-McCarthy ，不过里面许多作者我都不熟，听说过的也是我自己不喜欢看的，所以没法判断推荐是否好。（Raymond Carver，Patricia Highsmith 应该可以考虑。）
实在对胃口的作者的确碰到了是至大的福气。象我这样口味此一时彼一时的，真找到这
样的作者最好一下子多读一点，留久了反而要担心走了味。
