Maybe the layoffs are only temporary. But the biglaw biz model might change
forever and those heydays may never come back again.
After all, we're just associates/soon-to-be associates/soon-to-be law
students trying to collect more paychecks in this economic crisis.

申的是EB1-a, 140已经批了（通过电子邮件得到了update），但是approval receipt的
hardcopy还没有收到。想抓紧时
间file485，不知道可不可以先把材料都寄过去，等140 receipt到了之后再给他们寄过
去要求link。
另外一个想到的方法是把我收到的USCIS的email notice打印出来（里面也有receipt
number）附在我的485申请
package里代替真正的140 receipt。不知道这两种办法行不行啊？

卡批下来之前回去行不行啊，会不会让pending的申请作废啊？

我的情况：绿卡485 pending, EAD和AP已经拿到。下礼拜从公司辞职，然后回国。老婆
已怀孕，打算和我一起回国，然后6月份回美国，9月份在美国生小孩。现在准备帮我父
母预约美国签证（第一次来美）。打算在我们两个都在国内的时候去签，不知到用什么
理由签比较好。
现在打算是说儿子绿卡pending，现在在国内工作，父母打算和我一起来美国旅游。不
知道行不行？ |
