上藤校，到毕业后的去向等等，我想说，我们作为传统思维灌输下的华人，是不是忽略
掉一个feature呢？
我觉得看美国各大媒体，以及工作生活中的方方面面，他们都非常喜欢推崇role model
, 这点和国内的标兵有点像，但是在‘一团散沙’的华人身上，这点被严重的忽略掉了。
我觉得role model重要，是因为美国社会讲究影响力，就像他们文化中所推崇的各种文
体，政坛明星，以及迪斯尼文化中洗脑般存在的各种hero and heroine. 换成华人社会
，你想提高影响力，想让美国社会对你们的印象从传统的会计，马公，医生，律师，转
变成对社会有影响力的人物，我们就得造我们自己的star，在各种和社会的交道中，谈
话中，推崇这些人，让他们知道我们的影响力，知道我们这个‘小团体’中还有为社会
做出巨大贡献的人。
我举一个很简单的例子，我之前上班，当时正是版上一片马公叹息阿三面试不公时，有
时和同事闲聊，我就会提起这一事例，并说明华人做出了贡献，但在工作当中总被无视

可以上头条很多天的。而且判断病人有没有抢救价值很难的,你得把最先进最贵的治疗
方法都试一下吧?

如果是芝加哥大学医院，当然其它病人比较多。
但是像我们这样被众多nursing home包围的社区医院，icu里大部分就是感染病人，亏
你还是医生，当然你很可能还只是住院医，对美国的真正医疗情况还缺乏直接认识。
哥好歹干了十几年，呆过7家医院，从教学医院到社区医院到psych医院。没吃过猪肉还
没见过猪跑吗?
十几年的veteran怎么也比新警察靠谱一点。
你干长了，呆的医院多了，就知道医院的病人和社区有很大关系。
白人富人区，一堆etoh detox的，黑人区，都是heroin/cocaine overdose的，
nursing home多的地区，感染病人多。
大医院，elective手术病人移植病人多/
至于我们这的cook county医院，那烧伤和枪伤美国最top的。 |
