机器1. 5年新DELL DESKTOP + 3GB Memory + OCZ Vertex 2 60 GB SSD.
机器2. 1周新DELL R210 Server, + 12GB Memory, XEON Quart Core, + 2 X 15K RPM SAS
HDD with Hardware RAID 1.
运行同样的OS (CENTOS 5.5) + MYSQL (5.1), 装载了同样的大数据库进去. RUN DISK
INTENSIVE QUERY, 第一次运行, 机器1比机器2快1.2倍到5倍. 以后类似的QUERY机器2
比机器1快, 再换一个TABLE, 又是第一次运行, 机器1比机器2快1.2倍到5倍, 以后类似
的QUERY机器2比机器1快.
第一次运行机器1比机器2快的原因是SSD 的RANDOM ACCESS比HDD快多了, 以后机器2快
是因为TABLE中的数据已经LOAD到MEMORY中, 机器2大MEMORY和快CPU优势体现出来了.

我可不可以把power led的灯插在主板hdd led相应的位置上
让那个power led的灯显示硬盘读盘呢？因为机箱上有个风扇，开机后就发光的，所以

power led其实也不需要。

0.做系统镜像到外接硬盘上
1.拔下HDD
2.用win 8.1安装U盘启动（请问具体是如何设置才可以引导MBR到SSD？谢谢！）
3.再用win8.1 U盘启动盘自带的系统修复功能把image从外接硬盘恢复到mSATA?
还有MBR在HDD上有什么坏处？

HDD上的系统早就没了，都被我格了好几次了
最后这次是在diskpart下clean然后创建分区的，没看到有任何隐藏小分区，只有一个
primary分区
现在mSATA上的win8就是拨下hdd后才安装的. 现在mSATA上没有任何小隐藏分区。bios
的boot设置一直是legacy, and secure boot off |

mSATA想要靠前的口，就只能装到硬盘盒子插到HDD的位置了
HDD在启动后显示是disk 0
mSATA启动后显示是disk 1
有办法把mSATA变成dik 0吗 |

貌似原来的msata的读写比新的Crucial M550 SSD要慢,
这样是不是该吧mSATA给拿掉?

数据都没丢，只是盘符变了
所有分区都能看到（包括原厂恢复分区都能看到）
但是系统不支持从hdd一键重装了
拆了ssd或者boot 里面选hdd都会无法启动
折腾那么久就是想keep一键重装
没有了没有了没有了...
明明一块没动过的硬盘为啥不能启动
这不科学... |

能推荐一款和T540p匹配的256g的SSD吗？Crucial, Intel,还是别的？那款三爽850pro

不了。只好在bios里设成legacy, ssd分区表弄成mbr 才行。但是现在每次自动重启还
是显示no boot device, 必须手动ctrl-alt-del，再f12进启动菜单选中硬盘才能启动
。这是为什么？ bios里已经设成hdd是第一个。另外我如果把其他选项disable了就连
这样也启动不了了，必须把那些usb/cdrom/network都填在hdd后面才行。 |

they're all over the place but this seems to be the best I could find.
It's 7200 RPM, and it's doubtful you'll be able to tell the difference
between 3gb/s and 6gb/s or between 32 and 64 mb cache in a hdd of this size.
Anyway, Hopefully this deal is pretty good, I'm actually waiting for a few
of you guys to weigh in before I place my order, lol... but the 1tb caviar
blacks at frys and newegg are double this price.
