委员会发布了第一号作战命令。日本在该地区没有任何机场，地面部队无法得到空中支
援。携带老式 A2N 战斗机的轻型航母 Hoso 号无法和中国战斗机对抗，日本于 8 月
15 日把加贺号调到了上海外海。
在中国全境内大规模使用空军的战斗活动开始于 8 月 14 日，但是双方力量对比

就念念不忘，在1月17日终于打到。当时我在一片靠海的结了薄冰的沼泽地上追一只
northern harrier。Harrier hawk 翅膀一展飞到一边，把我甩在后面有50多米远，我
扛着大炮，气喘唏唏的追到30米远，放下大炮瞄向 Harrier hawk 时，它又飞远了。这
样来回两三个回合，我有点累，正在歇一会时，有一只小鸟从我身后飞过，浅棕色的羽
毛，那小鸟落地后就在草丛里找食，接着又飞来几只。我拿起望远镜一看，正是
eastern meadowlark。这下我放下 Harrier 不管了，一心跟拍 meadowlark。我放低脚
架，单腿跪在地上，拍了几张，然后保持跪着姿式等 meadowlark 向我走近，可惜我跪
得腿都麻了，它们都没向我走过来，反而越走越远，我不耐烦，站了起来搬着大炮向
meadowlark 们挪去，把它们吓跑了。于是，跟追 northern Harrier 的情景一样，我
在地上追，鸟儿在天上飞，来回几个回来，终于把我累跨了。

文也转过来，感觉杨宪益是直译，hawkes有点paraphrase的意思，英语更地道更
flowery，但诗的节奏韵味好像不足？老外会喜欢看hawkes版，杨宪益的比较plain，少
一点文质辞采。李欧梵看来更喜欢hawkes的译本，不过他没读过杨宪益的，只是对他的
翻译风格有不同意见，觉得他翻的鲁迅不够味，英国味道浓。我读杨宪益翻译的鲁迅，
也觉得和这些诗一样，缺一点感情。不过李欧梵对他俩的
学者作风都很推崇。

代的人很多都是高中文化，现在又退休了，一个月就2000多点。以前说成都看重房产，现在他们有2个房子有

is my idol. Hawking is a good physicist, but not comparable
to Einstein. I feel very sorry for Hawking. When he came to
give a talk in Harvard, people just went to see him as a
unique creature, and were only interested in his life, but
not his idea. Ed Witten is as good a physicist as Hawking,
but even many people in Caltech don't know he's there, but I
bet many people will go to see Hawking, again as a creature,
not a physicist.

八卦一下海鹰的吉祥鸟Taima the Hawk:
Taima是只Augur Hawk, 咋一看尾巴像Red-tailed Hawk,身子像White-tailed Hawk. 其
实老家在非洲,跟海也没啥关系.
应该用Osprey的(Osprey有时被叫Sea Hawk).
当然要是弄只Steller's Sea-eagle就完美了(Seahawks的队标显然是只Eagle). |

在英国著名理论物理学家斯蒂芬·霍金（Stephen Hawking）去世3天后，霍金最后
的科学贡献也为世人所知。英国《泰晤士报》3月18日报道，霍金在去世前两周提交了
最后一篇论文，其中提出了为寻找“多元宇宙”证据进行太空探测的数学方法。如果这
些证据在霍金的有生之年就能找到，那他很有可能将得到诺贝尔奖。
这篇论文的合著者是比利时鲁汶大学理论物理学教授赫托格（Thomas Hertog），
他在2周前与霍金见面，得到了霍金对论文的最终认可。目前，这篇论文正在一本知名

空军想省钱多买几架F-35。而且还另有秘密平台可遂行全球鹰的部分任务。分析人士猜
测，全球鹰不具隐身性能，将被秘密研发的远程隐身侦察机取代。
