cable box 出来的hdmi，基本上录不了，可能偶尔有clear qam的可以录，要是有1394
，可能能通过1394录，但也仅限于clear qam的。
加密的目前除了录模拟信号好像还没啥好办法。
要是楼主真想录，有两个方法可以一试：一个是hauppauge的hd-pvr。可以录component
，效果还可以。
另一种就是用支持cable card的电视卡。

去MICROSOFT的主页看了一下，有不少人报怨这个问题，可他们的的态度就是一个推。
不过好象焦点问题在PlayReady PC Runtim
