最新版ghost出来的vista都没法启动(到新硬盘），而且隐藏分区不work
acronis就没问题，硬盘size不一样也可以，隐藏分区也works perfectly |

主要是最近要运行一些程序处理大批数据，程序不大，但是把数据load进去之后运算时
，要消耗大量内存，预计要几十个G，在一台16G RAM的电脑上跑过，10天后由于memory

RAM不够上DISK RAM， 不够快再上 RAM DISK.（RAM-like performance HARD DISK）

Current system has 2 hard drives. The line in the /etc/fstab to mount the 2nd
drive is:
/dev/hdb /data ext3 defaults 0 0
There's no problem until I added a lot of files into /data. Then rading /data
became slower. When I restart, the /dev/hdb (/data) disk is now giving me
problems:

2) ide 3.5', 300G

I didn't buy case for each of them. so each time when I want to use
one of them, I need to mount it individually. It is very dangerous process.
last year I burned the 1T samsung harddrive.

installing the system onto my clean harddrive. In the end, I manually did
everything under a Debian desktop onto this harddrive, then plug it back to
U-NAS and it runs. However, whenever there is a power outage, all the
settings goes back to default such that I have to manually launch MLDonkey
and PT.
Overall, U-NAS is quiet and stable. |

SAS is different as long as you have a large harddrive.
Statistical program are not that CPU intensive as PC game, but I/O intensive
. Make sure you have have enough RAM and fast harddrive.
But SSD is proven to be more fragile than traditional HDD, however it can be
used for work fold in SAS |

beginning, 5x MB, a small partiton in the end for about 7MB, and a 3.6 GB
partition labeled P/M concurrent DOS .. What is this thing? Does it matter if
I delete this partition?

忘记具体名字了, 不是你这个. MCAFEE查不出的. MALWARE很多只是POPUP WINDOW, 也
不INFECT其它文件, 勉强来说也不能算VIRUS.
我的简化步骤:
1, 下载PREVX 免费版本.确http://www.prevx.com/
2, PREVX免费版本不能去除MELWARE, 不过可以告诉你MELWARE文件在哪里.
3, 用另外一个PC连上你的HARDDRIVE(C:), 手动去处所有MELWARE文件, 注意, 有些是
系统隐藏的文件. (我先试过该MSCONFIG/REGEDIT, 没用, 都自动改回)
4, 装回HARDDRIVE,启动. 进MSCONFIG/REGEDIT,DELETE掉所有MELWARE注册表(可以不做
, 因为文件不在了), IE下去处MELWARE的ADD-ON文件.
这种MALWARE和BROWSER无关, 用FF也一样POPUP. |
