1)Follow this procedure to flash new 2.23 firmware.
Install Procedure so far requires TELNET into the box,
ie.
Put the new "install.img" on the root of a usb stick and put it in the
machine.
From Windows "Telnet 192.168.1.123" or whatever the IP is of your media
player
user=root , no password
type the command "kill -6 1" , and watch it update itself

Dude, everything works fine for my bootcode 23 PBO.
after 2 flash(es), using VI to edit the menu.rss file. the haoims showed up
with many many Chinese channels. One link goes to another and brings even
more links.
I also notice that through xlive/social media, you can also access other ppl
's list.
such as gottongo has hdpfans ims, and aaaa from metafeeds has tones of porn
....
in all, too much content.
I also like the nature/science/animals from xlive. quality is good.

是^M结尾，我自己加进去的却没有^M结尾，加了haoims到我家以后播放的地方也没出现。
在xlive里面试了一些channel，比如disney channel，都放不出来，说"cannot play
this media file"，怎么修改呢？ 我的网络应该是通的，能看flickr上的照片。
Add to the end. The reason original menu items gone is: the script to show
icon use hard coded index. So if you add it to begining, the index will be
all wrong. I didn't try to change index yet, planning to do it later. I
prefer to have haoims as first item.
Before you buy any cable, try to reboot the PBO with P02 firmware again.
When I installed megapack, the PBO stopped rebooting showing a message of
failure of rebooting. I then tried P02 and it came back.
same here...
changed from BC 23 to BC 18, still error, 1st time no space, second time,
region error.
well, I could stay on P61 R2, I was able to watch the movies from haoims no
issue.
