My panasonic is more than 5 years old, all the batteries
in 4 handsets are still strong.
And it uses standard AAA rechargeable, so even if you have
problems with poor battery performance, it's easy and cheap
to get replacement. |

cannot command a premium on their product as Apple does. They are squeezed both
by upstream (contract manufacturer and component vendors) and by downstream (
carriers). As to Android devices, HTC and even Samsung perhaps would have a
brighter future than MOT. Q4 represents favorable seasonality to the
carriers. This is by no means FA, rather my butt feeling.

is around:
devices/week
Finland: 180 000
China: 280 000
Brazil: 250 000
Combined this is 710 000 devices in a week. The output rate may have
increased a bit, because they have added more temps for packing. They are
making other models too. Nokia Finland plant has made E7 phones and this
amount has been around 150 000/week.

you do know up until early this year, only one carrier carried iphone, do
you? You do know the only reason Verizon heavily promoted droid (the break-
out product for android) was because it couldn't get its hands on
iphone, do you? Not to mention iphone's installed base is much bigger than
all the android handset combined
even though only an small slice of users could actually use iphone without
changing their carrier.
