Both Lithium halogen exchange and SN2 reaction (in this case) work better in
a polar solvent. There is no point of using hexanes. Do not use TMEDA which
might result in a deprotonation at the 5 position.

大灯总成,因为HID灯泡的形状比较长,发光部位和Halogen的不太一样,如果继续使用
Halogen的总成的话,会造成low beam晃眼的问题. 所以了解德系车的都知道,就算是同
一款车通常都有2种不同的大灯总成,一种给Halogen用的,一种给HID用的.
而LED就不存在这个问题,由于LED比较小,可以随意做成几乎任何形状,所以可以沿用
Halogen的大灯总成不需要重新设计.而LED有多贵呢？其实多数用halogen的大灯都可以
retrofit成led的，一套灯泡大概100-200刀就可以搞到，这并不比HID conversion kit
贵，甚至一些高级的Halogen灯泡都接近这个价钱。而如果算上重新设计大灯总成的
cost，用LED绝对比HID要便宜。
那么，下一个问题，既然LED这么好，为什么德系高档车都不用呢？首先，LED不够亮。

access得多。具体步骤不多说了，在youtube上有非常详细的录像，

唯一需要的工具就是一把10mm套筒扳手。相对于youtube上的录像，我的12年的prius更
简单些，因为coolant的罐子只要拆两个螺丝就可以拿下来。当然网上也有手小的牛人
不拆也装上了。
我的HID kit是从xenonsupply.com买的，他家的是比较贵的，最便宜的，也是最常见到
的是DDM的hid kit，一套两个ballasts, 两个灯泡才40刀，我买的是slim can-bus
ballasts + capacitor + 2 xenon bulbs一共一百多点，灯泡号称是飞利浦的，但拿到
后发现根本无迹可寻因为灯泡上没有任何字样。从他们家买的最主要的原因是因为他家
提供5年warranty，号称坏了的话不用把东西寄回去，提供一张把坏了的产品销毁的照
片他们就把新的给寄来了。

。晃对方主要是cut off line的问题，路上最多的就是各种fart can civic, 不光屁响
，头灯也对天照。如果是原厂的一般不会晃人。不过我觉得新烤肉应该是设计问题，我
也被晃好几次了。奔驰标配halogen有点不厚道，起码应该学宝马，328是halogen, 340
就HID啊 |

般是halogen的好几倍，而且工作温度低，关来开去的对寿命也没影响。halogen如果总

我想说明一下Halogen Light的使用安全：
在一般情况下，Work Light是很安全的。几乎没有发生过什么work light引发的火灾。
但是每年都有数以千记因为不正确使用而造成的意外烫伤。
1. Halogen灯泡的表面温度可以高达900华氏度（500摄氏度）。皮肤接触的瞬间就可能
烫伤。所以work light都有一块UV filter玻璃保护，千万不要把玻璃去掉。
2. 小孩子可能会有好奇感，不要让小孩子单独接触这种灯。我就打算放在地下室
utility room里。
3. 爱美的女同学，如果要在Halogen灯下长时间做农活，建议涂一些UV Block。即使有
了UV Filter玻璃，还是会有一些紫外线辐射的。但是对于植物来说，这些有限的紫外
线恰恰是最好的杀菌方法。 |

发帖数: 534 | 32 不太明白你说的没有Hi是什么意思,是没有HID还是没有单独的远光.
如果没有HID你想换xenon,必须整个总成都换,
因为HID的reflection pattern跟halogen不同,需要用projector聚光和确保cutoff,
如果HID放在普通reflector里,光散射太多会影响对面来车.
HID需要ballast,但是实际上功耗一般是普通halogen的一半.上面有个帖子提
到了.
闪HID对其寿命影响很大,所以早期HID通常都是近光,远光用单独的halogen,
后来有了bi-xenon,就靠改变projector里面的cutoff来换远近光.
另外这个东西肯定是一份价钱一份货,那些便宜的灯泡基本属于浪费.
不想换头等总成的可以考虑一下HIR,东芝产的一种灯泡,
据说不错,仅ebay有售. |

新车到手有段时间了，最近想洗洗车，有些东西不是很了解，想向大家请教一下。
１。这边的新车需要开蜡吗？国内的新车好象都需要哈。如果开蜡是不是用car wash
liquid洗洗就就行， 还是得买特殊的溶剂？
２。网上查了一下，好象说新车头半年都不用打蜡，是这样的吗？
２。车是银色，买了下面的车蜡。后来发现上面写着 "Hides light scratches&swirl
marks"。看版上有人买了有研磨的车蜡，用了车反而更花了。拜托大家帮我看一下。这
个turtle wax ice 不会是有研磨功能的把？有谁用过吗？

样会晃前面和对面的车，只不过是光没那么亮而已。反正我觉得对面有车的时候始终都

固定都要问，肯定没改projector。
anyway，就算改了projector也还是没有self leveling，在起伏比较大的地方开难免不

I replaced my low beams with XenonDepot Extreme HIDs. Super bright. Also
replaced high beams with XD Extreme LED Pro bulbs. Not as bright as HID but
much better than Halogen bulbs (HID has warm up time and is not suitable for
high beams).
Strongly suggest you do the same.
Every halogen headlight is same regardless car type: dim (IIHS rating: poor)

全程开high beam 是可以给罚单的，但是安装不合格灯泡的却没有罚单，这个法规应该
改一下
