所以这个字不成问题
但是在内战时代，宪法早就有了，宪法规定总统是
commander-in-chief
这个汉语早就习惯翻译成为总司令
所以俺把general-in-chief翻译成为总指挥
但是还是别扭的很
下面一章，要写进军宾州，里面提及Hooker和Halleck的争端
要提到Halleck的职称，就是这么写的 |
