新浪财经讯 北京时间1月5日晚间消息，据《华尔街日报》等媒体的报道，印度警
方已经立案对花旗集团(Citigroup)(C)的多位高管展开调查，其中包括花旗的 CEO潘伟
迪(Vikram Pandit)，原因是花旗设于新德里郊区的一家支行涉嫌总额约30亿卢比(合
6720万美元)的欺诈案。
本案源自花旗一位名叫阿加瓦尔(Sanjeev Agarwal)的客户举报。阿加瓦尔指出，
自己在一位花旗Gurgaon支行雇员所操控的投资骗局中受骗了。Gurgaon是一个距印度首
都新德里西南 20多公里，紧贴新德里的新兴卫星城市。随着阿加瓦尔指控花旗及其多
位高级经理人涉嫌欺诈，印度警方开始介入此事。
Gurgaon市警察局的助理局长辛格(Dalbir Singh)表示：“依据阿加瓦尔先生的举
报，我们已开始立案调查这一欺诈事件。”
除潘伟迪外，阿加瓦尔还指控了花旗前副董事长罗德(William R. Rhodes)，虽然

India Citibank employee 'steals millions of dollars'
A Citibank employee in India has been accused of defrauding wealthy
individual and corporate clients of millions of dollars.
The alleged fraud was discovered earlier this month in a branch of the
global bank in Gurgaon, a wealthy suburb of the Indian capital, Delhi.
The employee solicited investment in a fictitious scheme, promising high

Chinese engineers to repair Haryana power plant
CHANDIGARH: Chinese engineers will repair the second unit of 300MW capacity
of YamunaNagar power plant, which is non-functional since last year.
Haryana power minister Ajay Yadav said the plant, which is based on Chinese
technology, is expected to be functional by February-end after it is
repaired.
Yadav said 15 engineers from China will come to Haryana by month-end to
