发帖数: 1 | 5 绿卡申请真是一波三折，第一次找了版上著名的W家，拿到一个NOID，回复以后被拒。
二进宫找了郭律师 (Daniel Guo Law)，细心负责，提交以后半个月后追加PP，7天直接
通过，实在是太惊喜了。
背景：Food Science
Paper：20+ （一半以上一作）
Citation：300+
Review：40+
2016年年底开始有了申请绿卡的想法，于是就联系了版上几家著名的律师事务所，得到
的回复都很positive，都给了不过退款的承诺。基于W家的名气，于是就选择了这家。
但是整个合作过程并不让人满意，感觉像跟机器人沟通一样，总之沟通很不舒服。在今
年8月file了I-140并且同时PP，结果等来的却是一个NOID，当时心情真的是很差。不出
意料，补充材料以后，case被拒。
第一次file被拒之后，重新在版上寻找律师，看了很多帖子以后发现郭律师的评价普遍
不错，于是就给郭律师发了email。正如版上所说的那样，郭律师秒回邮件，说这个
case只要包装的好，肯定没有问题，并且承诺他自己亲自过问每一个手上的case，而不

Paper: 19 (1 作共 7 篇，有两篇引用比较高，其他的都一般)

推荐信：5封，一封 PhD 答辩委员会的教授，一封 co-author 的教授，三封
independent （一位美国教授，一位德国教授，一位美国研究中心主任）
Media report：两次，都是提及了工作，没提到名字，所以也没有 claim。
我在2015年由朋友介绍知道的 Daniel Guo 律师，知道他是理工背景所以这方面可能比
较拿手，于是就联系了。当时的 case 自我感觉还不强（10 多篇 paper，300 左右引
用，review 很少）但是郭律师说 case 还是比较强的，就签了合同。
但是后来因为个人原因，耽搁了一年多，直到今年年初才开始准备。第一封推荐信耗时

虽然在之前的律师那里拿个full refund但是case还是被拒了，所以想问问这个郭律师

Guo觉得我的case属于strong的，给了approve or refund
Chen觉得我的case一般，可以试Eb1a，但是不给approve or refund，同时建议和NIW一
起办。
价格都一样
大家觉得应该选哪个一个？ |

不给refund，但是如果被deny会免费再给petition 一直到approval 。 |

等你换了Wegreen，结果过两天要是有很多推荐Guo的你是不是又要换。。。
而且W家也有强case不通过的案例，感觉IO的主观性更大一些
我当时找的是版上没提过的律师，后来才听说居然还有律师提供approve or refund 这
种service。。其实自己才是最了解自己的，律师更多的是锦上添花的作用。
个人感觉如果不是完全不负责任，邮件不回，胡写PL，粗心乱填表格，可能律师和律师
的差别也没有那么大吧？

1. AC is way too hot for my taste;
2. Only 3 ppl in weight room,
3 Cardio room was full (40 ppl?), but 75% of those on treadmills were
walking instead of running.
