轻人很有才华。第一张专辑Gulag Orkestar就引来众人瞩目,虽然乐评有好有坏。
总体来讲,我认为这张专辑对于很多人来说是可以”开眼界“的。不清楚Condon是否去
过欧洲,但是这张专辑融入大量欧洲,特别是东欧的民俗音乐元素,乐器,非常的有趣
。虽然有人认为,虽然有很多元素,和original的欧洲音乐还是差别明显。不过我认为
,Beirut并非就是要做欧洲民乐,所以他们自己吸取元素之后自己发挥也是很好的事情。
几周前Beirut又在emusic上exclusively发布了两首单曲,众人失望,因为和第一张专
辑差异比较大,不再是欧洲民乐风格了。这个乐队的走势现在看来是很不明确的。
EP Lon Gisland也是非常有趣的,值得一听。主唱声音很舒服,虽然Gulag Orkestar里
面整个唱法稍微缺少变化,显得有些单一。
