我的２楼的TUDOR。没有装的时候请人来CLEAN GUTTER每次要＄２５０，一年要起码来
４次。装了之后每年一次就好了，一次是＄３００。
当然不装也可以请人来CLEAN，问题是BETWEEN CLEAN的时候GUTTER里面东西太多堵住就
很不好了。我觉得还是必要装的。。。装了之后CLEAN也轻松些，只要水冲就可以干净
了。当然是要先把网拆下来。 |

发帖数: 3786 | 5 绝对是第一个好用点， 安装容易，它自带两个铁夹子， 夹在 gutter 边上就可以，
装好后就像一扇门，可以自由打开关上， 有需要清理泥土小碎石的时候就打开。
第二个我没装过，估计安装和拆开都有点麻烦， 但有个好处就是美观， invisible，
装了都看不出来，相对第一种，装上了后， 你会看见guard， 因为是巩起来一点的。 |

After working with this product for 20 years I can say that it has
one big weakness. The debris (= small leaves, needles, etc) will
collect at the upper part of the guard. So unless you remove
(brushing/blowing does NOT do the trick) this debris, the lowest
layer of shingles has little or NO chance of drying out. Hence the
lifetime of these shingles is halved. So it does require regular
cleaning.

一楼的自己清理很方便，二楼的自己清理的可能性很小。
我就是很好奇，二楼堵了其实也问题不大吧？不是都流到一楼了吗？一楼不堵，最终还
是流出去了。
PS，若是水在屋檐下面，有什么坏处，是对地基不好吗？ |

不知道。首先，校警都在main office附近转，任何人都可以推门进到main office的。
学校一般有check-in check-out的地方，有的是可以照相的check-in，会打出一个胸贴
上面有visitor的名字和照片。有的只是一个大binder。main office里都是大妈或者
volunteer，校长办公室一般在附近。但是我觉得如果歹徒是有准备的，一个on arm的
很难对付他。这个凶手带了防弹衣，说明他知道这个学校也许是有on arm guard的。现
在说什么都太早，也许victim之一就是这个校警。 |
