over 80 miles of hiking trails, lots of places to visit.
For Mck canyon, Fall is the best time for photo session. |

Carlsbad cavern is weather proof, one can visit there under almost any
weather condition, as long as it's open :-) |

风很大，而且trail上还有积雪，上坡比下坡要难。早上9点半到的GMNP, 用了5个多小
时走到。累的臭死，好歹开到了旅馆，倒头便睡。现在这都11点了，马上要check out,
今天去big bend np. 等俺玩回来以后一定上照片。这个周末回家。 |

发帖数: 174 | 28 我们上周先去big bend NP,然后去guadalupe NP, 在big bend NP爬了emory peak, 7个
小时来回，10.6 mile,最后登顶那一小段需要在千米悬崖上徒手攀岩，非常惊险但却令
人难忘。然后我们还走了 mule ear trail, 在沙漠中体会那种苍凉和壮美。去
guadalupeNP的路上我们选择走FM170去presidio,这段路被评为全美10大senic drive
byway, 名不虚传，风景极佳 和utah那段从 Bryce cannon去capitol reef 的route 24
有一拼。在guadalupeNP 那天刚好下过雪，怕滑和寒冷，就开车转一圈走了，下次去
big bend,我们要走south rim trail, ward spring trail以及chimmey eye trail。 |

峡谷看一眼还不错。
单独去确实有点远，可以考虑把周边的guadalupe, caven, white sands一块去了。 |

发帖数: 271 | 35 我当年是austin附近出发，一路经过fredericksburg，Kerrville等小镇，后者有一条
Guadalupe River经过，小河沿岸的风景很不错，沿着39号路开。
另外提醒下，lost maple附近只有Att有信号，大家早去早回，天黑山上走丢不是闹着
玩的，亲身教训。还有就是如果从北边往公园开的话，一路上最好见到加油站就把油箱
加满。回休斯顿从lost maple出来往南大概开十分钟有个无名加油站，可以加满在继续
走。 |
