短短一年的时间，Groupon就从耀眼的科技明星变得看起来危机四伏，和迟迟无法通过
上市一样让Groupon焦虑的是，其团购的效果正在受到越来越多的质疑。
8月1日，科技博客businessinsider在对Groupon的一些企业客户进行调查后发现，超过
一半的客户不再愿意在该团购网站提供交易。
根据businessinsider提供的调查报告，约60%的企业客户认为他们在Groupon上的体验
是成功的，但超过一半的客户不想再在Groupon上提供交易。约40%的Groupon客户认为
，他们的体验是失败的。大多数企业客户表示，只有一小部分Groupon消费者成为回头
客，这表明，Groupon并非像人们想象的那样，是有效的争取客户工具。
无独有偶，来自UK公司Cooper Murphy Copywriters 发布的报告则给出了类似的结论：
报告显示2/3参与Groupon团购活动的美国商家称团购活动给他们带来了利润，一些商家
不确定，有35%的商家说他们没有从中赚到钱 。

虽然此前Groupon的IPO频遭质疑或担心，但是这家美国最大的团购网站上市后的表现却
有些出人意料，该股开盘报28美元，与20美元的募股价相比上涨了39.95%。以开盘价计
算，Groupon的市值高达160亿美元。
MarketWatch专栏作家普莱蒂(Therese Poletti)撰文介绍，预计将于周五上市的

整个计划规模宏大，扩展的进度表也堪称激进。这带来了许多疑惑，Groupon 就像背后
有根鞭子在抽一样心急火燎地冲进中国市场，完全没有一般国际互联网公司进入中国的
谨慎小心，看起来相当奇怪。

开表示，暂时不会进入中国大陆市场。“也许会是两年以后，也可能是四年以后。”安
德鲁·梅森通过越洋视频回答了记者的提问。
网易在IVS峰会现场获得投资圈人士证实，Groupon国际事务总裁曾于10月初赴华约见了
多家团购网站的创始人。Groupon日本公司COO野田臣吾在接受网易科技采访时表示，“
Groupon关注任何可能的收购机会，但这并不代表有成熟的计划。”
安德鲁·梅森在回答提问时强调，“中国已经有非常多的团购网站，竞争很激烈。我们

Groupon。
上述消息人士称，双方可能最早将于本周达成协议，但谈判也可能无果而终。如果双方
以这一价格成交，这将是Google有史以来金额最高的交易。收购 Groupon将使Google成
为快速增长的团购市场上的领头羊。这一交易还是Google为涉足本地广告市场而采取的
最有力的措施。
过去10年，Google曾收购了多家公司，其中包括广告网络DoubleClick和视频分享网站
YouTube。
Groupon创办于2008年，创始人是其CEO安德鲁·梅森(Andrew Mason)，是增长速度最快
的互联网公司。
Groupon每天根据用户所处的地理位置和发布的信息向用户发送折扣信息。Groupon注册
用户超过1200万，年营收超过3.5亿美元。
Google和Groupon均未就此消息置评。

Groupon没有透露融资额，IPO资料中的7.5亿美元并不是最终融资额，它只为方便计算
费用。之前有报道说Groupon准备最多融资10亿美元，估值达200亿美元。
从上市资料中还可以得知，2011年一季度Groupon的营收为6.447亿美元，2010年为
7.134亿美元，2009年营收3047亿美元。
Groupon用“合并段调整收入”来计算利润。2011年一季度，Groupon获得了2.7亿
美元毛利，运营利润则为8160万美元。2010年全年的修正运营利润为6060万美元。
之所以无法盈利是因为费用太高。2010年一季度，Groupon的在线营销成本为1.799
亿美元。2010年达成交易3030万笔，但到了今年一季度，交易就达到了2810万笔。

lunch的时候去试试。可能是老板觉得Groupon上面卖的太便宜，不值，谎称管了东家，
不再接受Groupon。最后被迫花了full price。回去找Groupon退钱，结果Groupon不管
，说不是他们的问题。最可气的是这家店还在继续卖Groupon，好把食客骗过来。跟
Groupon反应这个问题，要求他们下架，结果他们说不是他们能够管的。给人感觉就是
店家和Groupon都有好处，所以谁也不得罪对方。

我一年前在Groupon上买过一个SPA的voucher，等到快要过期了才去预定。voucher让我
去一个网站网上预定。我发现每个available的时间一点都会变成不available，也就是
说在网站上无法预定。我打电话给店家，发现号码不是local的哦，好像是个州外的号
。转来转去好不容易有人接起来，对方说电话不能预定，只能网上预定。碰了一圈钉子
我只能打电话给Groupon退款，Groupon 倒是很爽快说给退，但是因为买了很长时间了
，只能退回Groupon credit。之后我用credit买了其他东西。
最近又抽风买了个spa的voucher，不便宜，快300刀了，买的人不多，我看只有10+。网
上预定的时候同样的事情发生了！不能预定成功！上面给的电话也打不通，只有留言，
店家网站什么资料都没有。我马上打电话给Groupon，也是二话不说给取消了，因为
purchase date在三天内，所以可以退款。
放下电话，我忽然想到，会不会这就是Groupon的收入造假方式呢？利用人们怕麻烦的

把我账户关闭了。直到第二件东西到了，我发现不合身，想去退的时候，发现根本不能
登录上我的账户。在GROUPON上申请reset password，Groupon说没这个账户，没法给我
reset password。如果不进入账户没法找到groupon的任何联系方式。我新建了一个账
户，发了request，要求Groupon给我查查怎么回事，groupon的客服就回了一封邮件问
情况，我详细的回复了，就没有下文了。我又打电话，Groupon说要交给账户方面解决
，他们会给我回复邮件或者打电话，过了4天，给我回了一个这样的邮件：

groupon. Overall its not bad if you buy from groupon alot. I saw it on the
front page but if not follow these steps. Go to the "Get Earning" tab and
then "Offers and Promotions". It should be on that first page and if not
then cycle through the pages. Also wanted to note that I am RWZ Silver
Status so not sure if its YMMV for regulars.

I don't know if Groupon knows about the fact most Tibetans do not eat
fish. It is a taboo in Tibet.
The Tibetans have five ways of disposing of a dead bodies: 1) Water

The deal is $20 for $40 at The Body Shop, but there's a neat twist to this
Groupon as well. If the customer redeems the Groupon by May 30, the Groupon
is worth $45 instead of $40! AND, it's also good on sale items.
Caveats: The Groupon is good for in-store purchases only, and each customer
