I received the Green Card yesterday, and my LD got approved yesterday. I
feel relax now.
I got a lot of help in this board and want to share my experience here.

to write in English.
I am married to a US citizen. I am now still preparing for the papers
to apply to my green card. But my student status will expire soon.Shall I
apply to other visa sponsored by my husband to let me stay in the US to wait
for the papers for the application coming out? Or which other way may I
stay in the US to let me wait till complete my green card application papers

1.目前移民版面根据EB种类有多个，不方便了解各种类的报绿贴。
2.报绿贴有存在的必要性，提供了必要的信息，如，EB1 or EB2 or EB3，还有PD，RD
，ND等等信息。
3.但同时每天太多的报绿贴有刷版的迹象，很多主题贴都被报绿贴淹没了，因此很有必
要成立一个报绿版，便于了解多种类别的绿卡审批信息，也不影响其他主题的讨论。
4.报绿贴给报绿人提供了一个宣泄的手段。一般报绿人都会散发伪币，专门成立报绿版
也为伪币的高效流通提供一个平台。

many post office workers, finally tract down the green card, it turns out
this new employee is not familiar with all the address, he did not know what
to do, so he keep this mail with himself for 5 days.
And the custom service of USPS is even worse than USCIS
Thank you all for your blessing, my money is limited, i will send baozi to
top 5 people.

I did not receive any text or email remainder about the approval. Saw so may
greens here, I went to check my status online, showing Card production on
08/11. Anybody having the same experience?
The approval date is just the 6th anniversity of my arrival at USA. Learn a
lot from here, thanks you guys. |

finished).
in Dec, 2012, tired of waiting so filed Eb1 (140 only without 485).
received RFE in late Dec.2012 to ask whether I want to link this Eb1 with
previous NIW 485 application.
Waited close to 2 months and sent out materials one week ago to link with
previous application.
No furthur notice but suddently told me card production.
So approved and get green card already??
Never received notice what is the decision.

I got my green card in Jan. Now I am going back to China for a visit. I
still have my I-94 card (since last time I came to U.S., I was under the F1
visa.)
I am wondering if I need to submit my I-94 when I leave U.S. this time. In
addition, could you tell me what documents I need to carry with me, along
with my green card when I leave the U.S.?

7/12. So far didn't get any card including my wife's EAD. Come on, guys,
tell me where the green wave is. I only saw two or three person get green
during the past several days here. |

my father declared "military training"(actually he served in Chinese army
before) in his previous visa application(approved), now he is in process to
apply for green card(family-based), I heard someone said not to mention "
military training" in green card application, but will immigration officers
check GC application against previous visa application and find the
difference?
Any suggestion or experience sharing is appreciated. |

What all things should you do after getting green card?
1) Update SSN card to remove the restrictive language.
2) Update drivers license as per your state policy.
3) Inform all banks, insurance, mortgage about your residency status.In some
states/city, you may be eligible for lower rate after getting GC.
4) Submit a new I-9 form and make sure employer runs eVerify on it.
5) Ask for and get an employee verification letter reflecting your continued

We all have green cards.I plan to go back to work in China while my wife and
kid will still work or in school in USA?
(1) In order to keep my Green Card, should I back to USA within 6 months or
within 1 year?
(2) If apply for Reentry Permit to allow my stay in China for up to 2 years,
do I need to pay $360 and a biometrics fee of $85 ? When I co-submitted my
I485 and AP which was free, but the AP now expired.

Without a Reentry Permit, the longest you can stay away is one year. In
order to keep your green card, you need to maintain residence. This depends
on many factors, not the length of the trip. No matter how short each trip
is, if things like the pattern of your trips, whether you maintain a home
here, where your family are, etc. suggest you do not maintain residence,
they can take away your green card.

card on EB2 category, including starting PERM, I-140 and I-485 application.
And this is based on good economy cycle. Now the job market is stablized and
the economy becomes better. So, starting the application now would be best
strategy. Again, do not look for jobs at big companies, try to work for
small companies. First, you gain more experience; secondly, getting green

Approved 140 LUD : 07/13/2008. Around that time lots of people that got
similar LUD greened. We were not lucky and waited for two more years.
485 LUD: 10/08/2008. I think at that time, our cases are prejudicated.
485 Approved: 08/04/2010

filed concurrently with my wife’s EB-2 in 2007. On January 18, 2011, my EB-
1a was approved. The

newly approved EB-1a), but
denied my first I-485 which was filed concurrently with my EB-2 (NIW) in

on 2/9 contacted congressman, receive paperwork yesterday to sign release
form. try to fax paperwork back to congressman but fax machine is down. plan
to fax it this morning but finally got "greened email" this morning.So SR
does work in my cases.
