at landa. Althought some guys in my dorm were really good at it, I have never
been a good player even I spent a fairly large amount of evening hours
shooting balls with those guys. /i confess i was not a very good student back
at landa ;)). I was caught with the stick in one hand, and beer in another
hand by my undergraduate research advisor for a couple of times. Everytime it
seemed he was more embarressed than I am! |

发帖数: 26819 | 8 good reader看扫描版pdf挺好，我试过打开大概800M的辞海pdf，没问题。
但偏偏是打开非扫描的文字版pdf有个问题：没有内嵌的中文字体，就只能看到乱码。
这个问题不能怪good reader。有的pdf没有内嵌字体，在电脑上用别的字体替代着看的。
但是iphone／itouch上不可能这么做。而PDF的字体管理功能很弱，不知道怎么往已有的
PDF文件里加入新的字体。
所以想用good reader看这些pdf，就得先转成图片或者djvu，再得到图片版pdf。
我的办法是在acrobat里save as PNG／TIFF，合并的时候选用最大体积的pdf。这样在
清晰程度上最接近文字版。目前暂时只好这么办，好在这样的pdf还不算太多。 |

it's very slow in opening even small files,word or excel or ppt.A small excel
file opens in no time in excel but takes a good couple of seconds to get
loaded into EIO, and if you try a 9MB word file, it's taking a long time to
open it too and is much much faster in Word. And it now definitely mess up
your math equations and excel chars (especially the legends). hehe, it's a

Just like MS Office, we can record good sentences or good paragraphs from
books we have read or from persons whom we have listened to or communicated
with. Meanwhile, we can review these sentences or paragraphs on the margins
of pages. Also, we can write footnotes at the bottom of pages. We can setup
the contents, the heads and feet of pages too.

not good for me since most of these positions need high rate travel. Only
working for big four is worthy for future.
For the one in University, non-profit pays less than industries but they
have good benefits package.In addition, they have good training program to
teach me. Normally, industry seldom hires accountant only with internal
audit experience:) especially small companies. |

editor said that they review 2-3 manuscript per day. Mole. Cell editor was

how true that is. I do not care because the accept rate does not mean
anything.

象Good Will 这样的二手连锁店，还有一些诸如把各家捐赠的旧东西，还有象TARGET这
样的店打折后还没被处理而捐去的商品以较低的价格卖出去， 收入用来救济残疾人，同
时还提供了就业机会。
在国内的时候， 经常看到好多人家阳台上都堆着东西。 我家就是， 一些用不着的书籍
，衣服，电器，本身还有使用价值，就不舍得扔，但家里实在没地方放，就只好收进盒
子搁阳台上。 有些人也许就直接当废品给处理了。
我知道有些特殊时候各单位会组织捐赠活动， 比如以前洪水，雪灾的时候好多单位都会
组织收集一些生活用品送到救灾机构。 但这种临时性的活动显得太少了。
我想现在各家各户多多少少应该都有些用不着的废旧物品，如果国内也有这样的机构，
是不是一方面缓解了一些家庭这方面的问题， 更重要的
