solid hard wood floor is 3/4" thick, engineered wood floor only 3/8" thick,
you can tell easily what did you get @ door threshold where the wood floor
terminates and transfers to other material, say ceramic tiles... since most of
the ceramic tiles nowadays are thin set glu on, it need a big wood threshold
piece to pick up the height difference |

I have not seen too many house with the color and type of the carpet I would
like to live in myself. (most are just cheap builder grade or one grade
better carpet)
If you use good carpet, you can move in right away, cheaply glued together
new carpet will release VOC for a while. So open window if weather allows or
use a mechanical air exchange if too cold right now. |

there was a lay of plastical stuff underneath the carpet, and they were
glued to the plywood.
when i torn off the plastic sheet off from plywood, part of the sheet/paper
still stick to the plywood. then use scaper or knife to get rid of them...
very time consuming....
need to do grout tuesday, then put toilet back on.. not yet completely

I know people here getting that done in the winter. Yes, all the problems
you folks mentioned are true, but what the heck, shit works. After the first
summer, there is no difference. (For those worrying about sealant, shingles
are mostly fastened by nails. Only the lower edge needs to be glued down
for high winds might blow them up.)
But they all did get a good bargain. Personally speaking, I would rather not
take that risk for a bargain.

的清晰.
我看网上说要用coped corners 而不是mitered corner joints, scarfed and glued
running joints instead of simple butt joints. 但又不知怎么和中国师傅解释这些
。还是中国师傅装crown molding应该都知道这些。湾区有比较好的装crown moulding
的师傅吗？

deform. Just like engineered hardwood floor.
This material is cheaper than solid wood. Unless you ask, builders will
probably use glue laminated boards. |

you need to fix that first. From the picture, the chimney cap is nailed/
glued to the chimney crown instead of on the flue. So you will redo the
nail/glue part. |

boards, deform over time and can't tolerate moisture, scratches and weight.
solid wood can be refinished when scratched or dented, but it can chip or
crack. High quality MDFs, or HDFs (high density fiberboards), can be as good
as solid wood, and are widely used in contemporary furniture manufacture. |

有这个疑问的原因就是往上看见很多人抱怨mdf的问题，所以才来问问，我也不可能每
种材料自己都有亲身体验不是？问了一个这里厨具厂的技术工人，说的是MDF就是glued
dust,plywood好歹使用木皮粘起来的，plywood含胶要少得多，他也不建议用mfd。当
初就是觉得这边的质量肯定比国内好，所以就光顾挑颜色搭配，后来才知道这里对甲醛
的重视根本不如国内，就像瘦肉精之类的东西，国内国外简直是两种态度。现在想办法
问问橱柜厂有没有国内橱柜厂类似的E0或则E1标准。
关于颜色，白色肯定是最优的选择，但是如果确实有健康隐患的话，我的观点是健康根

which also acts as the vapor barrier. Even with those kind of glues, you

in US, cherry, mahogany, maple, and curly maple are commonly used in fine
furniture. sometimes quarter sawn oak.

plywood glued together. Cut 这大东西有点点困难。
先用jigsaw rough cut, 然后把自己做的一次性box joint jig 固定在板上用router
搞定，为了这个买了个新的 2cut length 的router bit. 效果还不错。就是忘了前面
也夹上一块backing board, 看不见的一边有些splits. |

用Router 加edge guide 竖起来太辛苦了，产生的垃圾极多。 还好上次在lowes
clearance 买的两个clamps 派上用场了。
还好粘长的8ft 之前想起来，先把板的一边cut 个blind rabbet, 留1/8"厚度。 |

中间挖错了位置。挖了2.5feet深，还不见pvc。只好重新打开sprinkler，还好，看到水
流，就确定了方位。新方位离我挖的地方差6 inches。我挖的地方正好作为蹲下去的工
作区。
由于要更换pvc tee。所以我制定了两道方案。一套方案是将旧pvc tee 剥落下来，重
新安装新tee，这样不用剪切pipe。我拿来heat gun，很快就把tee的上部剥落。但是下
部由于没有工作空间，操作很不方便。加之，中午100度高温的太阳直照下工作，我很
快累得不行了。于是采用第二套方案。
第二套方案，cut 这个pvc tee，买pvc coupling， pvc cement，pvc pipe，
计算好尺寸后，上胶水。这个尺寸需要自己计算。pvc pipe需要剪多长。
旧管子需要剪多少。
check fit before gluing。
上完胶水，等了5个小时后，我在清洗一个sprinkler valve的时候，重新装上后，这个

2.直接去lab，要求测试血脂？
3.去医院里边抽血？

另外，验血的费用一般cover吗？ （是PPO的保险）
打电话问保险公司了，人家绕了半天也没说个所以然，谢谢！ |

了，>1200了，这个血脂不降反而升高，会不会有什么问题啊？需要做系统的检查么？

very safe if your child has no medical problem.
2。 换了牙冠，是否结实？因为听说有小孩换的牙冠掉了。 two types of crown. one
is SSC (stainless steel crown, silver color), another is Nusmile (white
color on face, so looks nice). If there is occlusional interference (upper
and lower front teeth heavy contact) Nusmile type crown may broken or loose
because it is bonded or glued to teeth. If you do not care esthetic, i
suggest SSC |
