每次回国送什么带什么礼物最是让人头疼, 买的东西要既合心意又能体现美国特色, 还
最好不超出预算, 挺不容易的. 很多美国的东西其实都是中国制造, 而国内的人还就讲
究要美国的, 不要中国制造的, 因为Made in China给人感觉档次不够, 从美国带一个
中国制造的东西太寒酸了.
还有, 国内的人讲究名牌, 买一件不是啥牌子的东西回去, 收礼的人也瞧不上. 再者,
中国人收礼, 除了看名牌还看价格. 国内没有礼轻情意重一说, 感情好不好, 就要看送
礼价格高不高了. 即使这东西看上去不咋地, 但是一个好牌子, 价格足够让人养眼, 那

Strongly recommend this farmer.
I ordered from them for over $300 last year and all my family members loved
their products. Just by smelling their ginseng would feel refreshing. Myself
personal favorite is the 1lbs tea package.
This year, i tried and bought some jumbo ginseng from anther big bend farmer
(recommended also here, and a little more expensive) and their ginseng

problem at all. We went through the customs at Shanghai airport last month.
Wild ginseng is so expensive that it’s out of reach for most people.
Cultivated ginseng will always contain some insecticide and other chemicals.
I just have to assume the benefits outweigh the side effects.

Wisconsin Ginseng是美国种殖西洋参，质量很好。好多中国超市卖的西洋参是国内种
植又卖到美国的，便宜很多，质量也很差。也有加拿大出的，质量也不如威斯康星参，
一是水土的原因，另外因为加拿大对农药的用量控制较松，所以如果买加拿大的参有可
能农药含量较高。
网上推荐的网站：

舒马赫，网上受到广泛推荐的网站，据说也是Wisconsin参农，大多数人反映质量不错

无缘品尝的餐馆，比如沸腾鱼乡，奇峰阁，锅将军等等，大家直接在mitbbs上应该可以
看到不少相关的评价。 另外，我也不是职业吃货啦，而且有些菜只吃过一次，可能某
位大厨一手抖就发挥超常/失常，造成了我对某些菜的印象比较主观化。
海鲜：
Boling Crab （San Jose）> Joe’s Crab Shack (San Francisco) > Tomi Sushi &
Seafood Buffet（San Jose）> Tatami Sushi & Seafood Buffet（Cupertino）
不参与排名：Pier 39 的大螃蟹 （San Francisco）， 金禧海鲜酒家（Palo Alto）
Boling Crab的螃蟹从来都是酒香不怕巷子深，关键在于它家的酱绝对不会让人想起它
是一家西餐馆。它家的龙虾也是一绝，当然一旦点了龙虾还打算吃饱的话人均基本在40

。虽然贵了不少，不过吃多了羊肉串想正好喝点汤润润嗓子。。。。不过，他们家的人
参鸡汤做得太差了。。。跟白开水差不多，（点完以后两分钟就端上来了，不知道为什
么这么快）味道实在照以前在加州吃到的差太远了。。一点人参味道没有，鸡汤好像是
对过了很多水。于是俺问招待：where is ginseng and why does this soup taste
like water? 招待狡辩到:because most people don't like ginseng, so we don't
add much(我ft,那你叫什么人参鸡汤？ 实际上人参是根本没有，反正我把鸡汤和鸡来
回翻了个遍也没看见人参）。然后说如果你需要人参应该早说blah blah...我倒。其实
味道差也就算了，他们这么狡辩让人觉得挺不舒服的。
当然不能一棍子全部打死，有些菜味道还不错，不过以后俺是不去了的。。。 |

保健品市场上基本全是假货，首先，那些东西有用没有用还存疑，至少可以另说，问题
是，大部分东西里边不含宣城的成分
