A question about Russian names: they put their family names after given
names, right? But why do girls have family names ending with -va and -a (
guys with -ski or -kov). I used to think those -va are given names. Do they
modify family name if the baby is a girl?

But i saw the show dances from the 4 couples.
Tony Dovolani and Elena Grinenko's "Sexy back" is not so sexy - just my
personal opinion. But i like generally their interpretation of the rhythm. I
feel bad i cannot appreciate rhythm dances...
Ben Ermis and Shalene Archer-Ermis' "fever" is too slow-paced. I cannot feel
the fever :) I believe their smooth is excellent but didn't see it.

Watch closely who is dancing with who in the rumba? :D It's in the
background; Max is 101; Andre is 145. This is at Manhattan Dancesport
Championship 2007. It was far away from me; when i heard laughters, i zoomed
in my camera and caught the fun moment!

Especially Elena, even she is short, she is so dynamic, energized in real
life.
My friends had a coaching lesson with Elena, and my friends asked me to
videotape them, so I almost got a free lesson. haha:D:D |

ll be a bunch of gals cheering for him ;) Elena is an amazing dancer, so
sharp and dynamic. since now Yulia and Riccardo are presenting USA as well,
not sure if they can still keep their championship title. |

Andrei Gavriline & Elena Kryuchkova are not active after blackpool, while
eugene and maria, riccardo and yulia did some comps. In this week's US
national, they are not going to dance, again, while the other two couple are
. only andrei did some pro-am. Strange... maybe they are considering
retirement? (i hope not。） they are older than the other two couples;
