50 GAL：
找contractor 1100-1300， 不包括permit费，用的牌子是Bradford White。 AMAZON上
review很差。但据他们说要比Homedepot的Rheem要好，我是不太相信。他们说也可以用
Rheem，价钱差不多。Lowes使用的Whirlpool，要1400， Homdepot好像是1200。
75 gal：
要贵不少，找contractor 1700-1900， 不包括permit费，用的牌子是Bradford White
。Homdepot好像是1450，反而要便宜不少。
总体感觉是找contractor便宜不到哪儿去。有一个contractor到家后以专家的口气告诉
我你家的HVAC系统可以更加优化一点，强烈建议我另外做些service。
我现在还没换，先买了个water sensor放在热水器下先用着。 |

Plano的sewer是Winter Quarter Averaging Program
每年冬季12月到3月的用水量取平均，（还取最近三年的平均，我觉得那是很遥远的事
，呵呵）
就是一整年的sewer的水量。
对于新住户，采用的是city的平均值9.3K gal，
我估计我们家4K就够了。（我也是今年的新住户）
到明年每月sewer还能少$20（$4.26/1K gal）
所以大家冬天要节约用水啊！
ps：夏天家里用水几乎可以忽略不计了，当然保持节水习惯是好事：） |

且平时钓的都是肉食性的鱼。 喂MINOW挺费的。
ANYWAY,
不用鱼缸用POND LINER就用了， 不过也不便宜， 20-30刀左右。 地上挖个洞按阶梯的
挖， 丢上LINER加水， 买个PUMP， CYLCE 一个星期左右就好了。 不想投资的话不用
PUMP其实也行， 只要鱼不多就没问题。 埋地里不怕冷， 容易过冬。
没有地的话可以去WALMART卖POND或者院子里的石头或者买木头固定成一个高起来到膝
盖的位置里面放POND LINER就好了。冬天这样不是很保暖。
这样的SETUP比买大缸便宜划算。 最少20-30刀都能80 GAL地多则200 GAL+。 一条鱼20加仑水， 每寸2加仑水。 i,e,
100加仑可以养1条80寸的鱼或者2条30寸或3条16寸的鱼 |

cheese cream，donut糖霜。刮下来厚厚一塑料袋，美国食品工业真是浪费。。。
用了无数的simple green和洗洁精，在浴缸里洗刷，腰都要直不起来了。
累得要死，Lows买5个新桶和盖子也只要25-30块钱，劳动回报率比复装子弹还
低了吧？最伤心的是发现只有一个桶是真正的5 gallon bucket，其他三个
4.25 Gal，另一个3 Gal。
Amazon订购的Mylar Bags已经寄到，因为桶比预期小，估计要浪费不少袋子
的空间了，而且总共储存米的重量从预计的350 lb降到了300 lb。
其实Mylar bag + 除氧剂 + 桶，来存长期储备的子弹也是不错的！不知道有谁

我大概算了个帐，MicroFueler卖10000刀(将来还得涨)，但产1加仑油才需1刀，按一户
两辆车，每台车一年用油1000gal算(每天上下班跑长途)，如果市场油价是$2/gal，需5
年收回成本，如果油价是$4/gal，只需一年半就可收回成本
一个MicroFueler可产70gal乙醇/week，足够4辆SUV每周跑400 miles
说不定这玩意过两年能像Wii一样火 |

rv开的。
楼上，飞到alaska租一辆rv, 开1500mi, 油费4个人一起去的话，1500mi/(9mi/gal)*$3
.5/gal, 平均每个人也就是150美元左右。而且既然租rv, 何必再去外面吃饭呢。自己
去超市买，然后拿到rv里面做着吃。4个人的话，男女分工，男生开车，女生做饭，然
后男生帮忙刷碗倒垃圾。倒车什么的，让车上的人帮忙看着就好，不是什么大事。
lz, 有机会租个rv。 省钱不省钱放在一边，这至少是一个experience, 回想起来还是
蛮有意思的。开的时候小心就是了，刚开始有个适应的过程，熟悉以后就没事了。我们
今年9月初在alaska租了辆rv, 刚开始也不适应，开了100mi就基本上熟悉了，限速65，

student. espcailly during those work week for those who are working but free
for F1 post qualifiers, I (or we) can go out for 2 or 3 days and drive at
least 1000 miles per day. But then gas was $0.99 per gal. Not >$3 per gal
